The difference between Swiss and American news media
Lichdom, the linear first-person RPG where you play a badass battlemage, is now officially out on Steam after a nearly six-month early access period. If you liked playing a mage in Skyrim, you'll probably enjoy this. There's a new launch trailer, too. Like all good trailers, it has Two Steps From Hell. Watch it above.
Styx: Master of Shadows is described as an "infiltration game," and it's coming next month from developer Cyanide Studios. It'll hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, and promises expansive worlds and stealth gameplay.
You can check out the above video to get a look for yourself at some of the gruesome deaths you'll be able to enact. The game is being released as a downloadable-only title.

I love how they respond to him, as if he is actually a captain, even more.
Like this is amazing

Bioware's upcoming fantasy epic isn't going to just have a huge single-player campaign . Dragon Age: Inquisition is also going to have co-op multiplayer, too. Get ready to battle for loot.

I swear the fuckin producers of the simpsons knew shit was an issue before anyone opened their eyes.
Director Rian Johnson, who is slated to take over the Star Wars franchise after J.J. Abrams directs Star Wars: Episode VII, has said that the new films will favor practical effects over CGI.
From The Hollywood Reporter and the Girls in Hoodies podcast:
"They're doing so much practical building for this one. It’s awesome. I think people are coming back around to [practical effects]. It feels like there is sort of that gravity pulling us back toward it. I think that more and more people are hitting kind of a critical mass in terms of the CG-driven action scene lending itself to a very specific type of action scene, where physics go out the window and it becomes so big so quick."
This is a huge relief, of course, for fans who were...

Looks like Peyton Reed is growing into the job, while production delays have shrunk. Get it?
The website Indie Revolver has what it calls "very reliable information" about the new design of the Storm Trooper helmet from Episode VII, including images.

The RPF also has what it calls a "leak" of one of the actual props, which you can see via Indie Revolver if you don't want to sign up for an RPF account on the forum.
The design, if real, is much closer in spirit to the original films than what we saw in the prequel trilogy. In case you missed it, we've also seen the updated X-Wing design from the upcoming film. It's suddenly a...
When I think about the multiplayer games that I really enjoy, one immediately comes to mind: Turtle Rock Studios' Left 4 Dead. In a sea of samey competitive multiplayer titles, something about that particular game really worked for me. It stressed the importance of teamwork and watching each other's backs in the face of overwhelming odds.
So, needless to say when I first heard rumors about the studio's newest project after leaving Valve, it had my full attention. I've tried to avoid most of the official PR regarding Evolve, waiting for something a bit more candid to be released before getting my hopes up. Well, the wait is finally over. YouTuber jackfrags has released what he states is unscripted footage of the game being played on PC. In the video, he offers a lot of interesting tidbits about it and how some of the mechanics and character classes actually work.
From what I've seen here, any concerns that I had about the asymmetric multiplayer have been quelled. Still, with the announcement that Evolve is being delayed until early 2015 a lot could change. What do you think? Does the footage live up to your expectations?

I don’t generally reblog things. But Miyazaki is an exception, and this is so so so so beautiful. He gets it.
DixSi no haguéssim d'esperar encara dos setmanes per veure-la, hem sabria mes greu ^_^
DixDragon Age Keep, el que comentavem en algún moment, per establir el que va passar a Origins/II :P
Dragon Age Keep, the companion web experience that allows players to tailor story choices from across the franchise for Dragon Age: Inquisition, will roll out later to accommodate for the game's delay, BioWare announced today.
Originally expected to launch Oct. 7, Inquisition is now heading to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Nov. 18. BioWare has adjusted the launch date, which is still unknown, for the Keep accordingly. Players are promised access to the service before the game is released.
"We still plan to launch ahead of Dragon Age: Inquisition, giving you ample time to establish your world state ahead of time," the update reads. "The exact date is still to be determined and will depend on how the...
