Awkward Moment of the Day: Redditor's Murder Confession Goes Viral on r/AdviceAnimals
This might be the first time in history that a murder was confessed using an Internet meme. Yesterday, Redditor Naratto submitted a Confession Bear image macro (shown above) in which he claimed to have murdered his sister's meth-addicted boyfriend with his own stash of drugs. The post quickly shot to the front page of the social news website, leading other Redditors to "dox" his name and social networking profiles and even report the Reddit post to the FBI's tips site. After realizing that his post has caused a stir on Reddit's front page, Redditor Naratto promptly posted a response assuring everyone that it was a joke and removed his account.
