Ugh...the pronunciation of GIF. I completely agree with Chris Hardwick on this one.Lastly don’t forget, like most comics from Channelate, this one has a bonus panel.

If you once walked the fields of Vana'diel in Final Fantasy XI but haven't been back in some time, you've missed a lot of updates. The game's run for 13 years now, after all; whenever you stopped playing, it's likely a lot of new content awaits you. And if you've got the hankering to check back in and see if it's how you remember, you can do so for a week. Completely free.Until September 17th, former players can log in for free and explore all of the content available in the game. Players will need to transfer their old PlayOnline IDs to Square-Enix IDs if they have not done so already. A promotional video has also been released, detailing some of the changes made to the game for its current incarnation. Gaming is a Little Different These Days
AT&T and Verizon say 10Mbps is too fast for “broadband,” 4Mbps is enough
Talynebearbs.....video on demand, hd everything, multipel pcs in the house. stupid ISPs.

AT&T and Verizon have asked the Federal Communications Commission not to change its definition of broadband from 4Mbps to 10Mbps, saying many Internet users get by just fine at the lower speeds.
"Given the pace at which the industry is investing in advanced capabilities, there is no present need to redefine 'advanced' capabilities," AT&T wrote in a filing made public Friday after the FCC’s comment deadline (see FCC proceeding 14-126). "Consumer behavior strongly reinforces the conclusion that a 10Mbps service exceeds what many Americans need today to enable basic, high-quality transmissions," AT&T wrote later in its filing. Verizon made similar arguments.
Individual cable companies did not submit comments to the FCC, but their representative, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), agrees with AT&T and Verizon.

Mega Truth
First off, I know it is sad, but I think this comic is pretty damn accurate. It's a shame. I think there's still a lot of good years left in the little blue bomber. Too bad that Capcom doesn't feel the same.Second, so when I was adding the tags for the video games referenced in this comic I could not figure one of them out. I got Mega Man, Bubsy, Toe Jam & Earl, Cool Spot and Aero the Acro-Bat, but I could not figure out who the ant like creature that you see from behind, in the final panel, was. It almost looks like an amalgam of Rayman and Plok.
Any help with this dilemma would be greatly appreciated.
Update: Thanks to Asquian and Bradson Goldie for letting me know that the missing character was Dynamite Headdy from his self-titled game. Never actually played that game. Probably part of the reason why I never knew what it was. Still, seeing as the game was developed by Treasure (ie. Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Mischief Makers) it might be worth playing.

Life is Like an RPG
If not for the advent of the Internet, I would have had these exact same conversations with my own mother. Everyone has heard the term "starving artist." Fortunately, that phrase doesn't really apply to the IT industry. I always imagined that I would be animator first and foremost as a kid, but life has a way of working out differently than you anticipated and that's not necessarily a bad thing.See more: Life is Like an RPG
