Nope, this isn’t a joke.
Sylvia Ann Driskell of Auburn, Nebraska is suing every living homosexual.
Driskell cites herself as an ambassador for God and Jesus Christ. According to NBC and her petition, she is suing based on her idea:
“That homosexuality is a sin and that they they homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.”
While the petition does not bring in any sort of government writing about the legality of homosexuality, it does quote the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and the Bible.
Here are a few snapshots from Driskell’s lawsuit, which has quite a few misspellings. I would say typos but it’s hand-written… in cursive:
It doesn’t appear that the case Driskell v. Homosexuals will actually be brought to court, as no defendants have been summoned. Regardless, some gay rights activists have commented on the situation, including columnist and author Dan Savage. He tweeted:
