Krysten Ritter helped Jimmy Choo celebrate their collaboration with the Rob Pruitt Collection in New York City on Thursday evening.

Proving she can wear bright colours as well as she smoulders in all-black, the actress wore a vibrant pink Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2012 dress.

Her spaghetti strap dress with a fitted bodice and free-flowing skirt with side-slit was styled with matching pink Jimmy Choo ‘Kairo’ lace-up sandals and a Jimmy Choo + Rob Pruitt ‘Sweetie’ lace-print acrylic mirrored clutch.

Krysten’s signature red lips were replaced with a pretty rose-pink colour with large gold hoop earrings completing her look.

I almost didn’t recognise Evan Rachel Wood on the red carpet at the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick in LA on Saturday evening.

Not because she was wearing a one-of-a-kind Gucci dress; it was more about her hair.

We’ve seen the actress with long golden tresses before, but I had grown so used to associating her with a short slick back ‘do.

Evan’s Gucci dress with antique rose paillette embroidery, a sheer yoke and nude waistband was styled with a Gucci crystal box clutch and blush coloured Gucci sandals.

Cat-eyes and a complementary copper lip colour completed her look.

One of my favorite tendencies in Mexican cultures is their positive relationship with death, and the above skulls are some beautiful evidence of it. Our Exquisite Corpse partnered with artists from the Huichol community of the Sierra Madres in West Mexico to create a series of stunning beaded skulls. Bead art goes back centuries on centuries on centuries in Huichol culture, from enormous tableaus to, more recently, tiny tourist coasters and covering every object on the way .
