Kindergartners Will Soon Be Told to Experiment with Same-Sex Relationships, Says Christian Bigot
Lrbeveruhhhhhhhhh... no
You would’ve thought that the Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling gave people a way out of saying stupid things. Republicans could now say “I don’t like it, but the Supreme Court said so. We live in a nation of laws and it’s time to move on.” But they haven’t done that. They’ve gotten even crazier, saying things like the Supreme Court has no right to pass judgment and advocating for civil disobedience.
But that’s nothing compared to conservative Christians like Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver, who thinks the ruling will lead to kindergartners being forced to experiment sexually with people of the same sex.

Responding to [radio host Jim] Schneider’s fears about the future of public education, Staver argued that we will now witness “the marching of the kids through the public schools and the indoctrination. This is the, this is going to be an assault on them of unprecedented proportions as well.” The Department of Education, he predicted, will soon be ordering schools to tell kindergartners, “‘Hey, you need to experiment as a kindergarten with whether you’re male or female. You need to, like, have some experiments and go out and have same-sex relationships.”
That is “absolutely happening and it’ll happen now on a more rapid pace,” he added.
All of this came after Staver said Christians must act like Rosa Parks and refuse to comply with unjust laws. As if Christian bigotry is on par with racial equality.
Somehow, a ruling that was supposed to save bigots from themselves has made them even more despicable human beings.

Father-Son Duo Create the Most Amazing Pancake Artworks
LrbeverRainbow Dash is an amazing looking pancake, but not Princess Pancake, lol
Edible pancake art is nothing new, but we have yet to see anything as detailed as the masterpieces of Tiger Tomato, a father son duo who shot to fame on the internet after posting their colored batter creations on YouTube.
Looking at their awe-inspiring pancakes, it’s hard to believe Tiger Tomato have only been at it for three months. It all started with a simplistic yet wonderfully colored rainbow pancake, which got over 150,000 views on YouTube. Inspired by the overwhelmingly positive response, the father-son duo from Melbourne, Australia, quickly stepped up their game and came up with elaborate-yet-edible renditions of popular cartoon characters like Elsa and Olaf from the Disney hit “Frozen”, Homer Simpson or Garfield.
Guy Tries Wearing High Heels for a Day to Prove Women Are Whiners, Fails Misearbly
LrbeverTake that, asshole.
Sick of listening to women constantly complain about having to wear high heels, one man challenged himself to wear high heels for a whole day to prove “that girls are huge complainers.” It didn’t go exactly as he planned…
As any woman will tell you, high heels can make your legs look sexy, but wearing them for long periods of time is no picnic on your feet. Even single-sole pumps and platforms will prove painful if you stand or walk in them long enough, but Brandon Cohen, a video correspondent with BroBible.com, actually went for the worst possible option – full-fledged stilettos. He meant to spend a whole day in them, doing all kinds of activities to prove his point, but only managed to keep them on from 8:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m, most of which he spent sitting, because he couldn’t stand anymore.
John Oliver Talks About the Importance of Defending Transgender Rights
LrbeverWatch this and be amazed at what is left to do.
If you missed it last night, John Oliver had an excellent segment on Last Week Tonight explaining why people need to care about transgender rights:

I didn’t think it was possible for Mike Huckabee to be an even more despicable person. Despite his claims otherwise, his Christianity has made him a monster when it comes to treating already-demoralized groups with any compassion.
Homophobic Preachers Try Saving an Adorable First-Grader; Guess Who Wins That Showdown?
LrbeverThis little girl is a bad ass.
This first-grader shows more love through silence and a rainbow flag than the annoying Christian preachers trying to “save” her:

According to the video description:
This was not a march, or a political event. The preacher was accosting festival goers, including other families with children. His rhetoric, before being confronted by a small girl, was graphic, and bigoted. He was escorted out by police a short time later. Zea was not there to protest. She volunteers at Comfest every year, and was on her way to spend her volunteer tokens on pizza.
The event took place in Columbus, Ohio.

The Legend of Zelda: Quest Items Throughout the Ages
Lrbevercool beans
nearly 30 years of Zelda releases and the important quest items needed to complete each game I enjoy gaming infographics, but I don't post them very often. Mainly because I don't have the time to verify all the information in them and you guys tend to tear them apart. Not saying I don't enjoy seeing you guys dissect the inaccuracies, because I do. I just don't want you to assume that just because I share something, that doesn't mean I have verified all the information to be 100% accurate. I just thought it was a cool infographic to share, so I did. That is all.See more: The Legend of Zelda: Quest Items Throughout the Ages
179. MAX EHRMANN: Desiderata
LrbeverLooooooooooooooove it.
Desiderata (Latin for ‘things to be desired’) is a famous poem with a complicated history. Max Ehrmann (1872-1945), a lawyer and poet from Indiana, wrote the poem sometime in the 1920s and distributed it locally, although it never received any widespread attention. However in the 1950s, the Reverend of St. Paul’s Church in Baltimore printed the poem in a collection of devotional pieces for his congregation with a notation stating “Old St. Pauls Church, Baltimore A.C. 1692.” As the booklet got distributed more and more over the years, it led to people believing the poem originated with the church and was hundreds of years old, despite the modern style of writing. The wrong credit gained more credibility after the death of American politician Adlai Stevenson in 1965. A copy of Desiderata was found on his bedside table, putting the poem in the spotlight again, but of course it had the incorrect St. Paul’s attribution. It went on to be hugely popular in the late 60s and early 70s among the counter-culture generation. So if you see the poem around with the wrong credit, make sure to give props to Max Ehrmann.
I adapted Desiderata as a result of a contest my book publisher, Andrews McMeel, held at the recent Book Expo of America. Visitors were asked to vote for their favourite poem out of three choices, with the winner being adapted into a Zen Pencils comic. I submitted three of the most-requested poems I get sent to me: Desiderata, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night and Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep. I hadn’t got around to adapting any of them because I had put them in the “too hard” basket. The contest forced me to figure one of them out at least, and I’m glad I finally did. Thanks to everyone who voted and thanks to all of you who’ve sent me this poem.
– The previous comic featuring the Shaolin Monk and the words of The Dalai Lama.
– Related poetry adaptations with cool one-word titles: Ithaka, Invictus and Ozymandias.
Here’s the late, great Leonard Nimoy reciting Desiderata.

Another Equestria Girls Book Appears for April 2016 - Canterlot High Tell All
Lrbeverawesome!!!!!!!
Typically with the Equestria Girls chapter books, they are based around the events that happen in whatever movie is airing around the time they release. This one is breaking off from that trope with something that sounds a bit different.
An 80 page chapter book has appeared titled "My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Canterlot High Tell All (Replica Journal)

Here’s 21 minutes of Super Mario Maker gameplay
Lrbeverwow
Super Mario Maker was one of my favorite games at this year’s E3, and I really dug the 30 or so minutes I had with the title while at Nintendo’s booth. The demo itself was pretty much open, and you could select really anything you wanted from the menu they provided. That means what I played is likely different than what another writer from another site played.
What you see above is 21 minutes of Super Mario Maker with direct feed audio as recorded by Nintendo World Report. This was obviously an offscreen capture as you can see the player and the demo person standing beside him whenever the screen flashes black.
See full gallery on TechnoBuffalo
Still, it’s solid, and you’ll get a really great representation of what the game looks like in motion when you’re playing the levels created by others. They are absolutely ridiculous, for what it’s worth. This is a world where blocks not only eject mushrooms and coins, but also squids and flying fish. Why not?
Super Mario Maker will release for the Wii U on September 11, 2015.
Mario Maker will ship with 100 levels on disc, more than any other game
Lrbeverholy shit
See full gallery on TechnoBuffalo
When the absolute insanity that is Super Mario Maker hits the Wii U on September 11 of this year, it will include more levels on the disc than any other console Mario title that’s shipped in the past.
How many? 100, and I bet more than half of those levels are stupid bonkers.
The word comes from Nintendo, but the comparison to other Mario games in the franchise comes from the Wii U subreddit and Redditor Butter_Is_Life.
Holy smokes, 100? Here’s some numbers to put that in perspective; [sic]
- Super Mario Bros. – 32 levels
- Super Mario Bros. 3 – 90 Levels
- Super Mario World – 72 Levels (96 Exits)
- New Super Mario Bros. U – 82 Levels (94 Exits)
That’s a whole lot of content. Granted, some of the levels might only be one or two screens long, but those might even be the most challenging. Like that ridiculous level I played at E3 that tasked me with jumping off a ledge blind over spikes in order to land in the one Mario-sized hole that contained the top of the flag pole. I didn’t succeed.
Here’s looking to more failure with Super Mario Maker later this year! At least 100 levels of it, anyways.

Ponies Around the World - Submissions Opening June 27th!
Lrbeverwooooooooooooooot
Ponies Around the World is making it's big return this year, with submissions opening a bit later than usual! Starting on June 26th, the submitter will open for two weeks. I know some of you may have already returned from vacations, but I'm sure there are interesting places nearby to visit and grab a snapshot of your favorite pony figure with.
If you have no idea what Ponies Around the World Is, have the page for it. The general idea is to take a pony toy, and snap a photo of it in front of a major landmark, historic building, or significant location. We've had everything from the pyramids in Egypt to remote islands in the middle of nowhere so far.
Now go! If you are on a vacation, be sure to snap a pic with a pony!
Chocolate Bacon Cookie Dough Balls
Lrbeveryeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss
Bacon Chocolate Cookie Dough Balls

Who doesn’t love cookie dough balls? We spiked these cookie dough balls with bourbon to make a boozy dessert treat. To make a kid-friendly version, simply replace the alcohol with milk. Speaking of kiddoes, this is an easy recipe to make with kids during summer break. They store well in the fridge and are a quick and easy afternoon snack. It’s also a fun dessert to bring to a 4th of July party or summer barbecue.
8 strips vanilla bourbon bacon, cooked, finely chopped
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup bourbon or bacon vodka
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate chips
Milk or dark chocolate for coating (your preference)

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar and butter until smooth. Stir in vanilla, milk and bourbon. Mix in the flour, bacon bits and chocolate chips until well blended. If dough is too thin, add more flour until it is stiff enough to form into balls.
2. Chill dough in the refrigerator for about an hour.
3. Melt milk or dark chocolate by microwaving for 10-20 second intervals until just melted.
4. Form dough into one inch balls and coat with melted chocolate. Place on a silicon baking mat or waxed paper. While chocolate is still soft, sprinkle bacon on top.
5. Allow chocolate to cool and harden completely before serving. Store in refrigerator.
