A sign outside Taylor Road Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia is rightfully pissing people off:

Remember, Satan was the first to demand equal rights.

Because women and black people are evil, just like Satan…?

No. In true Baptist form, the sign is probably referencing LGBT people who, along with everyone else, await a decision from the Supreme Court on marriage equality. But how ignorant do you have to be not to realize that the struggle for civil rights is one that has been fought by multiple groups of people and not just the one you hate?

The pastor of the church, Mel Kunkle, says he’s not talking about one particular group at all:

[Kunkle] said it’s about evil, referencing Satan trying to be equal with God, and he said he stands up for what scripture says.

Way to step back from your bigotry. If you’re going to be an asshole, at least own it. And if the sign isn’t meant to be about one particular group, why leave up such an ambiguous phrase when that’s exactly how everyone is interpreting it?

You don’t win if people are debating whether you’re a bigot or just plain ignorant.

Following the trend of the last two movies, a book will be released to go along with the actual Friendship Games movie. Usually this drops a bit earlier, so we can probably deduce that the film will be late October based on this post.

Typically, these don't follow the actual movie storyline. If it is anything like the last few books, it will veer off into a side story, or prequel.

It's that time once again! Hopefully you are all having an awesome summer so far. Pony fans cover just about every country on earth, and it's time to celebrate that fact!

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to grab the nearest piece of pony merchandise you have and find a landmark either nearby or on a trip to take a picture of with the pony in it!

The time has finally come for all you Build-A-Bear collectors out there. Derpy Hooves is about to arrive. Buried within their usual databases was this image of everyone's favorite pony based disaster. Will she have an optional mail-mare uniform? Is Build-A-Bear badass enough to do that?
