I previously discussed the new Crossfire expansion coming, but we’ve got another smaller expansion also heading to print. 

For those that picked up the Character Expansion Pack 2, it’s very much in the same vein. As the back cover displays, it’s got 20 new Runner cards with alternate art, a complete extra set of stickers (those found in the High Caliber Ops Mission Expansion), as well as some legendary characters! (Note there’s an error on the back that I just noticed, it’s only 5 Prime Runner cards, not 10.)

And here’s a close-up of one of those cards! (First, it’s a pre-final, so there may be tweaks just yet; second, it’s like the Oni promo card we did, so these are all printed directly on the card providing a whopper of a character out of the gate to play!)

When Ryan Palser is not working at Boss Key Productions as a senior animator, he’s usually busy building robots and replicas in his studio. Since fallout 4 will be released later this year, I thought you guys would appreciate seeing Ryan’s amazing plasma gun replica.

Here is the final product of months of work. I am beyond happy with the way it all came together in the end. I have to give major props to my painter wife Dena for really helping me take this gun to the next level with the amazing weathering job.

Ages ago, Microsoft was talking about Minecraft and the HoloLens, specifically being able to play the game on real-world surfaces, among other things. The idea that a player could have their favorite world open on their living room floor, kitchen table, or outside was a nice one, but hard to wrap one's head around. Today, it became a LOT clearer how it will work!

At E3, a live demonstration of how Minecraft with the HoloLens works was shown, and it is nothing short of mind-blowing. The in-game world was projected on the table on stage, and manipulated in real-time, in front of real people. Nothing I say after this will do it justice, so if you haven't already, click that video above, and prepare to be speechless!

So, now that interactive holograms (using Minecraft, no less!) are going to be a reality, how would you play Minecraft with it?

President Obama is a huge nerd, and regardless of your political allegiance, I think that his homage to Leonard Nimoy is indeed a fitting tribute. Via Vulture:

As promised, Star-Lord dropped by Christopher's Haven Children's Hospital in Boston along with a grizzled Captain America (noticeably out of uniform) to make good on his fulfillment of their much ballyhooed Superbowl bet. When the child in the header photo was introduced to Star-Lord, the toddler looked quizzically at the good-hearted space rogue, and asked, "Who?"
