Comment on MFDJ 08/04/18: Egyptian Evisceration by Louise
The brain was removed through the nose by hooks
The only time I can remember listening to the NPR informational program Fresh Air, they had an Egyptologist talking about, among other things, this aspect of mummification. He said that you simply can’t get hold of a brain this way (for an analogy, imagine trying to serve jello with a crochet hook). Instead they used a sort of whisk to liquefy the brain so it could be drained out.
Did I mention that this program airs at lunchtime?

If people were climbing in and out of it all day, it’s very likely that several people managed the ‘complex manuevers’ over time and the victim only carried out the last step

Thank you for this article. Daily Mail posted another photo of this crime scene (that has had color added) and I am trying to find out more information on Mrs. Barbara Cornelius. Is her maiden name Seilein? I can’t find any record of that name in my searches. Have you found any other information about her? And am I understanding correctly that her husband fled the room and left her alone? Thank you for your assistance.

This is totally fake! I do not know where this “morbid” picture came from and whose corpse it is. But that is not Magsaysay’s.
One thing is certain. Google up any account concerning the retrieval of the remains of the passengers who died in the crash of Mt. Pinatubo, the presidential plane. And you will see there that the remains of President Magsaysay were charred beyond recognition and lumped like coal with the other dead bodies. The only way they identified it was thru a wristwatch. Here are few detailed accounts to prove that point:
