On the new colorless mana symbol: I'm concerned that this venture is going to work out similar to tribal in that it's a thing that changes the text of every new card forever (like how tribal changed some instances of "Soldier" to "Soldier creature") with little impact beyond Oath of the Gatewatch or any set that has a colorless theme.
It will moving forward allow us to not have to use one symbol to mean contradictory things. Our testing with new players found it made some of the mana concepts easier to learn.

What about the original plot structure for BFZ? Would the third set have come between Battle and Oath, or would Battle have been two sets?
We never got that far.

Was it ever considered back in the theros block to make enchantment lands, seeing as how there isn't as blatant a way to abuse that versus their artifact counterparts?

Constellation alone prevented the existence of even one enchantment land.

You may already know this, but today is BFZ prerelease! I'm going to do like six of them this weekend. Fall prerelease is one of my favorite times to be a Magic player. And the two block paradigm means I get this twice a year starting NOW!
That’s the idea. I hope you and everyone else who is able to get to a prerelease in the next forty-eight hours has a great time. I had a blast at our employee prerelease.

Instead of instants-matters etc for set design, could we see something like sorceryless-matters. i.e. there are 0 sorcerys in the set?
There is no reason to do that other than to show off we could which is bad design.

Are there any futureshifted cards in Battle for Zendikar or Oath of the Gatewatch?
Ghostfire isn’t in either set. The issue is it represents Ugin’s colorless magic and all the Devoid spells in the block are Eldrazi. I did try but it just didn’t fit.

Just fantastic video making. I am envious of both them. Anyone who claims YouTube is getting stale just hasn't looked hard enough. There's great science and pseudoscience-debunking videos out there, made by innovative and careful videomakers.
