PlayStation Plus subscribers will get free access to six games in May across PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Sony confirmed today, including Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Hohokum and The Unfinished Swan.

One of those PS Plus games will be a new release, White Paper Games' first-person adventure game Ether One, which makes the leap from PC to PS4 next month.

Here's the full PlayStation Plus lineup for May:

Although I rarely stay at a hotel that has any amenities at all, one that I dread seeing is the mini-bar -especially when the kids were young. I first encountered a mini-bar in China. Our travel agent advised us to just replace anything taken with an identical item before checking out, but that’s hard to do when hotel employees come in several times a day to check it. And don’t get me started on the refrigerators and snack trays equipped with motion sensors! But it seems the hotel mini-bar is fading away. At first, it was a great idea for business travelers with expense accounts, but even they are more cautious about spending three times the retail price for a drink in today’s economy. Customer: “Hi. I think you may want to call security. There’s a really weird guy outside towards the other side of the building.”

Me: “I’ll notify someone right away.” *I notify security after looking, but hear nothing of what happened*

(It turned out one of my coworkers was outside praying.)

A woman in Jerusalem was arrested this week for setting fire to a car because someone wouldn’t give her a cigarette.

Security cam footage shows the woman approaching a man at a gas station. After the rejection, she takes out a lighter and ignites the gas tank, which quickly bursts into flames.

Fortunately, the guy pulls out the pump preventing the car from exploding.

Here’s the appropriate way to respond to being denied a cigarette.

In case you hadn’t fallen victim to the pummeling from ads, news stories, and seemingly countless documentaries that have aired in recent weeks, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are set to square off in a Las Vegas boxing ring this weekend in a bout co-produced by Showtime and HBO. The fight won’t actually be airing live on either network; you’ll have to pony up $100 to watch it on pay-per-view. That’s why the two premium networks, along with the fight’s promoters, have filed suit to preemptively block websites from live-streaming the event.

The plaintiffs file the complaint [PDF] yesterday in a federal court in California. It accuses the operators of two sites, boxinghd.net and sportship.org of advertising “an unauthorized live Internet stream” of the much-ballyhooed bout.

One site tells visitors, “[I]f you can’t afford to buy tickets then simply watch Mayweather vs Pacquiao here. We will provide with nothing but the freshest and the most reliable high quality live links,” and claims “there are lots of alternatives that you can watch the fight live… You can watch the full fight via live stream in this website. The live streaming will commence when the fight starts.”

Clicking on the link for the live stream on boxinghd takes you to the other defendant site, where, according to the suit, “In order to gain access to the stream, users must click through one or more ‘offers’ that promote the goods and services of third parties. Plaintiffs are informed and believe that Defendants use these advertisements to monetize their websites.”

The plaintiffs say that the sole purpose of these two sites is to infringe on their copyright.

“[T]he only content on Defendants’ websites promotes and/or monetizes their intention to infringe Plaintiffs’ rights by streaming the Coverage without authorization,” reads the complaint.

As of this morning, we were unable to access any content on either of the URLs named in the lawsuit.

The fight is expected to bring in upwards of $300 million for all involved.

Today in “People who richly deserve jail time,” we have the driver of a white 1990s Isuzu-looking SUV (ETA: Probably a GMC) who passed a school bus as three kids were about to board, nearly plowing into them. The whole thing was caught on a video that’s pretty horrifying to watch.
