What The British Say And What They Mean

Photo: Today I Learned Something New
I checked the office twice, no one here is British so I can't confirm exactly how accurate this is. That being said, I am picturing all my favorite English movies and characters and it plays out pretty well. Like Simon Pegg from Shaun of the Dead or Stanley Kubrick from A Clockwork Orange or even Harry Potter from.. well you know. I don't know about you guys but I read this out loud (without thinking) and in my best British accent. My favorite line is probably "could we consider some other options."
Any English followers out there that can confirm this guide?
Scaring People in an Elevator With an Undead Old Man in a Coffin
In this hidden camera elevator prank that aired on the Brazilian SBT variety show Programa Silvio Santos, multiple groups of unknowing people enter an elevator to get to their desired floor, but are quickly scared out of their wits when a coffin is accidentally left behind holding an undead old man. We have previously written about Programa Silvio Santos and their elevator prank where a little scary girl appears out of nowhere.

The Boyfriend’s Guide to Pinterest
“Does using Pinterest make you feel girly? And if so, is that okay?”
In The Boyfriend’s Guide to Pinterest, Modern Primate editor Chris Menning talks about the primarily female-based user base of popular social network, Pinterest, and why it should be an important site for men too. In addition, check out Pinterest and Feminism, an article by Nathan Jurgenson on The Society Pages.
Pinterest has grown quickly to become the 3rd largest social network on the web, and has a user base that’s over 80% women. So what does this mean for men, and for that matter, for women?
Ultimatum.
Here is a link to the category of the Machinima film festival that my music video is in. There are some great videos on there. Chickicheck it out.

sola escena superflua" (Deborah Young: The Hollywood Reporter) ----------------------------------------
Puntuación: ***** (sobre 5)" (Peter Bradshaw: The Guardian)
----------------------------------------
"Obra maestra (...) Una tierna, desgarradora e impecablemente dirigida historia sobre el amor y la muerte" (Manohla Dargis: The New York Times)
----------------------------------------

The Real Life Totoro Cat Bus

My Neighbor Totoro is a pretty surreal movie, but you probably didn't know is that it is actually based on a real creature, which can be seen above. Personally, I think Yun Yun is even cuter than the one in the cartoon.

Dimite Karen Berger

The Video Games Women Make
"The experiences of women may not be easy to portray in the aggressive world of videogames. If such a game is made - and I hope it is - it will be because its creators demanded to be heard. It will be created because women made it."
