Game of Thrones Characters as IKEA Furniture

Apartment Therapy has taken Blogadilla’s Swedish Furniture Name generator and done the only sensible thing one could do with it: entered the names of our favorite Game of Thrones characters and watched them become relatively inexpensive flat pack furniture.
The Queen of Dragons, reduced to her chair.
Somehow it feels a little rude to Cersei to reduce her to a bed.
I suppose if we consider Arya’s future, she could be anything. Even a nightstand. A very deadly nightstand.
I feel like Tyrion would be a very drunk night stand, the kind where one leg is shorter than the others so it wobbles.

‘The Hoff’ is Back in This ’80s-Tastic Music Video for “Kung Fury”

David Sandberg is a director living in Sweden who recently asked for $200,000 on Kickstarter to fund a movie called Kung Fury.
Over $600,000 was donated.
According to the film’s official website, the movie “features arcade robots, dinosaurs, Nazis, vikings, Norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an ’80s-style action-packed adventure.”
Oh, and did we mention it also spans 1980s Miami, 1940s Germany, and Asgard?

IKEA-möbler med trådlös laddning av smartphones

IKEA har nu börjat använda tekniken Qi-laddning i möbler, vilket innebär att möblerna har utrymmen var du kan lägga din smartphone för att ladda batteriet utan sladdar. I dagsläget har man ett antal lampor för golv och bord, samt avlastningsbord och nattduksbord.
I dagsläget finns det inte så många smartphones som är kompatibla med Qi-laddning, men IKEA lanserar även två mobilskal för iPhone respektive Samsung Galaxy S. Mobilskalen innehåller lösning som gör att din smartphone kan laddas trådlöst bara genom att läggas på laddningsytorna på de nya möblerna.
Hur många sladdar till mobiltelefoner har du slitit upp genom årens gång? Jag vet inte hur många iPhone-kablar som har gått sönder, allt eftersom de använts, och ska du ha auktoriserade sladdar kostar de guld.
Trots att tekniken för trådlös laddning har funnits i många år – och används av till exempel tandborstar, rakapparater och liknande – har det varit segt med att införa det i smartphones. Detta trots att smartphones idag hade haft väldigt stor nytta av det, eftersom många av oss behöver ladda dem fler än en gång per dag vid aktivt nyttjande.
Förutom möbler med laddningsplattor inbyggda, kan du skaffa IKEA Jyssen som är en laddningsmodul du själv monterar i en bordsskiva.
IKEA-möbler med inbyggd trådlös laddning av mobiler
En lösning för mobiler är Qi-laddning, och det finns ett par smartphones med stöd för det. IKEA tar nu steget in i den här trådlösa framtiden genom att lansera ett antal möbler med ytor för att ladda mobiler på. Utbudet består hittills av golvlampa, bords- och fönsterlampan, skrivbordslampa, avlastningsbord (litet bord för exempelvis hallen) samt nattduksbord. Alla modellerna har en yta på vilken du lägger din smartphone. Designen är sober och helt i vitt.
Om du inte är sugen på att köpa kompletta möbler, har IKEA även fristående laddningsplattor. Nordmärke heter en laddningsplatta i trädesign som finns i modeller för en respektive tre smartphones. Vidare kan du skaffa Jyssen, som är en laddningsmodul du själv kan montera i exempelvis ditt skrivbord.
Eftersom de vanliga mobilerna på marknaden saknar Qi-laddning, släpper IKEA även en rad mobilskal för iPhone och Samsung Galaxy S som ger din smartphone stöd för Qi. Vitahult-serien av mobilskal finns för Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 och S5 – samt iPhone 4/4S, 5/5S och 6. Skalen är i helvitt.
