The figure, titled “Dwell Persona 4 Arena Mitsuru Kirijo Another Color”, is based on character Mitsuru Kirijo, who originally appeared in RPG “Persona 3”. The 1/7th scale figure depicts Mitsuru as seen in fighting game spin-off “Persona 4 Arena”, and is an alternately-colored version of a previously-released figure. The current release shows Mitsuru in a striking bright red and black outfit, contrasted with her removable, crimson fur coat and jet black hair.
The figure will retail for 12,960 yen, tax included.
The figure’s highlights include Mitsuru’s crimson fur coat and jet black hair.

Thatz Not Okay, 17 February 2014:
Recently I’ve invented a hobby whereby I invent factoids that are close enough to the truth to be believable, or just so totally random that they’re difficult to prove/disprove (e.g. “Professional hurdlers run faster and make fewer mistakes when forced to jump over animals of the exact same height as a hurdle.”) I tell these facts to friends and acquaintances in such a manner that they believe to them be irrefutable truth. Recently, I overheard a friend repeating a disprovable fact to a group of friends, who mocked her. I enjoy making up these facts and don’t want to stop, even though other people are going to look foolish for believing them. Is that okay?
Dear The Most Wholesome And Well-Intentioned Fibber of All Time,
The way the Bad Advisor sees it, you’re simply providing a bevy of fun trivia nugs for your friends to repeat—it’s on the shitty, disdainful rest of the world if the rest of the world wants to take them to task and mock them mercilessly for it. After all, no one expects to establish a base level of trust with friends who they depend on not to actively enjoy their public humiliation.
Enjoying pulling one over on those who foolishly believe the people in their lives aren’t outright mocking their rank gullibility is one of the great pleasures of the human experience, and in no way suggests that you are a shitty person. Carry on!

Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog was this perfect little burst of musical-theater supervillainy, which rocked the internet... and then there was no more. Are we going to have to summon the Evil League of Evil to get us a sequel? Apparently not. It's still happening... just very, very slowly.

AlainmendezMan. People love their Dune.
A brand-new trailer for the documentary about Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowsky's failed attempt to make a Dune movie has dropped, and the look it provides at what could have been is fantastic, bewildering, and a little soul-crushing, mostly because we never got to see Salvador Dali as the Emperor of Space.

Yoshiki Tanaka's Legend of the Galactic Heroes, telling a sci-fi war based on 19th century Prussian conflicts inspired a huge body of anime between 1988 and 2000, including 110 OVA episodes and 52 side-story OVA episodes. Now, for the first time in over a decade and a half, a new anime project is in the works.
The series had plenty of die-hard fans, and it's the ones who attended the opening of the latest stage production, Legend of the Galactic Heroes Chapter IV: After the Clash, who first heard this news.

The second I saw all the designs of Dragon's Crown, I knew that they'd make fantastic figures. The ridiculously busty Sorceress, the gloriously thighed Amazon and the lithe Elf were seemingly made from the ground up to have fantastic toys made for them. Well, as you can see here, Megahouse has done quite a bang-up job with the Elf and Amazon. They won't sell you on the designs if you didn't like them before, but if you were fond of them before, you'll like them even more now.
The Elf looks fantastic, caught in the middle of a leap and firing her arrow at an unseen foe. The Amazon is wielding her massive axe, ready to bring it onto the head of any that would oppose her. They are both looking like must buys for fans of the games. Unfortunately, they'll likely be expensive, as their size, base requirements and detail all look high-end. That's alright though, as long as the final product is great. I guess it's time to start filling my poor, abused piggy bank.
