“Sega Hard Girls” Appear in “Phantasy Star Online 2 ES” Japanese Mobile Game
Continuing their cross-media promotional appearances, three of the Sega Hard Girls – anthropomorphized versions of old Sega gaming console hardware – will appear as chips in the Japanese smart phone game, Phantasy Star Online 2 ES.
These chips promise to provide players with powerful in-game bonuses. Here's a sneak peek at the Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Megadrive chips as well and their evolved forms. Note that Megadrive can form a “Tower” version with Mega-CD and Super 32X.
This isn't the first time the Sega Hard Girls have made cameos alongside other Sega properties. Dreamcast, Megadrive, and Sega Saturn also crossed over into mobile games and Phantasy Star Online in their anime, Hi-sCool! Seha Girls.
The Sega Hard Girls will be available as chips for a limited time only. The promotion ends on March 04, 2015.

"Persona 4: Dancing All Night" Official Website Relaunches With Boatloads of New Information
Persona 4: Dancing All Night is headed for a June 25 launch in Japan, and that’s unfortunately a very long time to wait — much too long for my tastes. In anticipation of the release, Atlus has relaunched the Japanese website for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, with a slew of new information and question and answer session from producer Kazuhisa Wada.
Gematsu has translated the Q&A session, which goes over specific tidbits of information that fans may find interesting. For example, it appears that there may well be store-specific preorder bonuses for retailers in Japan, which may carry over to an eventual western release. There’s no demo currently intended for release, and it’s “the plan” to release a digital download version.
Yu Narukami of Persona 4 will be the canon protagonist, and little Nanako will be in the game, but she won’t be participating in any dance battles. She will, however, be a part of the storyline that will be taking place directly after Persona 4 Golden’s epilogue.
The interview goes on to detail some of the game’s mechanics, including a general idea of how the dance battles will be performed. It’s an excellent and detailed look into the upcoming game, and it’s only served to get me even more invested in its eventual release.
Check out Gematsu’s interview here and get hyped!

"Card Captor Sakura" Art Collection Is Being Re-Released Online
It's a great time to be a Card Captor Sakura fan, isn't it? All these props, costumes, the re-release of the show? It's like Christmas came for fans, and this announcement should please them as well.
There's an art collection containing three books that is set for release on the Anime Style Online Shop beginning today, February 13. The collection includes Revised Key Frames by the Animation Director, Animated Artworks, and Character Designs [Full Scale Drawings], though if you want just one of the books all three will be available for purchase separately.
This is big news, because the art collection sold out very quickly when it first ran as part of 2013's Comiket 85. Now, if you can get your hands on it it's still obviously in Japanese, but importing it should become a much simpler task in the future.

Manga of the Month: Wolfsmund
Wolfsmund (狼の口 ヴォルフスムント)
by Mitsuhisa Kuji
Wolfsmund spins a tale from mid-17th century Europe centering around the St. Gotthard Pass (a fortress nicknamed Wolfsmund) in the Alps and the ensuing Swiss peasant rebellions. The story takes us from the whispered words of unrest through (so far) all-out assault on the odious fortress known as Wolfsmund.
There are many character threads being pulled in different directions by the master of the fortress, Wolfram, and the hope of the peasant cause, Walter, son of Wilhelm Tell. Walter runs as hot as Wolfram runs cold and that distinction becomes more and more pronounced with each passing death. But Wolfram emerges as the more interesting character of the story despite Walter’s role as would-be hero. Wolfram is established early on as a fascinating, but truly villainous, character and nothing about the series suggests a heroic happy-ending for the rest of the cast.
Wolfsmund is incredibly violent in a hundred different ways. In an odd twist, scenes of the fortress being attacked are actually less gruesome than many earlier, smaller, attempts to snuff out rebels. Not to mention the truly vile and disturbing methods of Wolfram himself.
In the hands of Mitsuhisa Kuji, Wolfsmund’s emerges as a brutal historical fantasy with razor-sharp art. From harrowing scenes of people climbing the mountains in an attempt to skirt the pass to Wolfram’s unnerving calm as he quietly questions travelers, the reputation of Wolfsmund as a place without mercy and a master who is beguiling in how frightening he is is executed to perfection.

A Look at Good Smile Company's WonderFest Lineup!
I think it's safe to say that--among figure collectors--Good Smile Company is held in pretty high esteem. From the highly-articulated figma line to the adorable Nendoroids to extremely high-quality static figures, Good Smile Company brings our favorite characters to our shelves, desks, and nightstands (what, I don't judge).
Good Smile's entire WonderFest lineup was revealed in a recent gallery, and it's a big one! I don't want to post the entire gallery here--I want to leave some surprises for you--but here are some highlights!
Yu-gi-Oh's Black Magician Girl
Infinite Stratos' Charlotte Dunois
DRAMAtical Murder's Koujaku
Pacific Rim's Gypsy Danger
Kirby, I think. Maybe Jigglypuff?
No idea who these guys are, some turtles from space or something in that Michael Bay movie?
Monogatari's Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade
Fate/stay Night's Rin 2.0
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-'s Ramlethal
If you don't know what this is, I don't know what to say
Love Live! School Idol Project's Honoka
Cardcaptor Sakura's Sakura, this time in a "Battle Costume Ver."
Kill la Kill's Mako, in her Goku Uniform!
The Legend of Zelda's Link, just in time for that live-action series (if it's actually happening)
Majora's Mask Link Nendoroid, the perfect companion for your Wind Waker Link Nendoroid
Magic Knight Rayearth's leading ladies, in figma form
Dragons Crown's Sorceress (insert gibberish here)
Ryu ga Gotoku/Yakuza's Kiryu, who I'm already saving a spot on my desk for
Fire Emblem's Marth, because Good Smile Company does not care about your wallet
That's just not cool, GSC. I strongly recommend you check out the full gallery for even more figures that are coming down the line--what are you most looking forward to? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
