Shonen Jump Heroes Team up on Latest Magazine Cover

by news+feed@crunchyroll.com

The latest issue of Shonen Jump is bringing together shonen heroes in a big way: through the pens of their creators!

Current manga creators were asked to draw their heroes side-by-side with their own favorite Shonen Jump stars, and the prompt has led to some awesome team-ups. One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda drew Luffy and Goku buddied up, while Kohei Horikoshi of My Hero Academia fame shows Deku and Naruto practicing their jutsu.

The new issue is loaded with even more tribute art. Manga creators sketched their own takes on the JUMP "pirate mark":

Haruichi Furudate (Haikyu!!):

Hideaki Sorachi (Gintama):

Kohei Horikoshi (My Hero Academia):

And there are colored cards from a number of their contributors:

The issue will also include a retrospective on the magazine's many covers.

The new commemorative issue hits newsstands July 14.

by news+feed@crunchyroll.com
Alainmendez

If middle schoolers do not make your drinks is it REALLY a Hinamatsuri cafe?

Hinamatsuri is celebrating the release of its first DVD/BD in Japan with a collab cafe — and if you've been watching closely, you probably already know the first item on the menu.

The Hinamatsuri Cafe, held at the popular Cure Maid Cafe, is headlining its menu of themed goodies with a heaping plate of ikura. You'll also be able to get shirts reminiscent of Hina's T-shirts, a "Nitta in a concrete drum" dessert, and more reminiscent of the series. Character cocktails will also be available.

You can also pick up exclusive merch while you're, like Anzu's jacket as a sweatshirt, a Hina glasses case, and a T-shirt with a design reminiscent of both the series and another popular bit of entertainment:

Ordering off the collaboration menu will also get you one of four random postcards:

The Hinamatsuri cafe at Cure Maid Cafe runs from June 27 to July 8.
