OK Katana Zero, you have my attention.

by Nathan Grayson
Dsider

FUCK

OK Katana Zero, you have my attention. The game is being billed as a “a fast paced neo-noir action platformer,” and it looks equal parts slick and brutal. Among other things, the game will let you slow down time and interrupt characters during conversations. It’ll be out sometime this year. Watch the full trailer below.

by Jason Schreier

Fox announced today that they plan to launch a reboot of 24 without Jack Bauer, which is sort of like Konami making Metal Gear Solid without Hideo Kojima. It’s just not going to work.

Fire Emblem Characters get a Demonic Redesign in The New Shin Megami Tensei

by Richard Eisenbeis
Dsider

You're not seeing things. There were indeed two practically identical Fighter characters in the original game, named Cord and Bord. Between them and the minor throwaway villains in Awakening, I still don't know why they made the decision to not feature more entries in the series.

Well, except for Tiki. She gets to be Hatsune Miku .

This Interview With the Guy Who Played Jar Jar Binks Is Tragic as Hell

by James Whitbrook

Jar Jar Binks is the epicentre of so many people’s rage about the issues of the Star Wars prequels, or even Star Wars in general. But people often forget that under the CG alien was actor Ahmed Best—and he’s spent over a decade having to deal with Jar Jar’s reputation.

It Took 26 Hours to Build a Custom Lego AT-AT That's Six Times Larger Than the Official Model

by Andrew Liszewski on LEGO, shared by András Neltz to Kotaku

Lego sells some impressively large and obscenely expensive models (the $800 Super Star Destroyer comes to mind) but the company does have its limits. Its largest AT-AT set tops out at 1,000 pieces, but this custom build pushes that to well over 6,000, which explains why it’s so gloriously detailed.

The Coolest Star Wars Rey Toys That You Can Actually Buy Right Now

by James Whitbrook on Toyland, shared by András Neltz to Kotaku
Dsider

Strangely, the only one of these that appeals to me is the Disney Infinity one. I blame amiibo.

Star Wars toys have been in the news, as people reacted angrily to the distinct lack of merchandise based on The Force Awakens’ main hero, Rey—culminating in rage over a Rey-less Monopoly set . Hasbro have promised to include Rey in a later set, but why wait? Here’s some Rey merch you can get your hands on right now.

I love it when people do these. If you've ever seen what pokemon cards look like normally, it's an even bigger improvement off of those boring frames they use.

How Pixar Copies Scenes from Other Movies

by Casey Chan on Sploid, shared by Gergo Vas to Kotaku
Dsider

Probably not all of them, and some here are a bit questionable, but still interesting

How Pixar Copies Scenes from Other Movies

Pixar movies are great because of their characters and their storylines but also because they pay homage to the great movies that came before it. And they’re not even’t imitating animation movies, it’s a tribute to cinema, it’s live action films that get paid the form of flattery. Many of the scenes you can recognize immediately (like when you’re watching Toy Story or Wall-E) and others are done tongue in cheek, but some you’ll have to dig a little deeper to remember.

Look At This Legend Of Zelda Action Figure

I really wish I hadn't bought the Skyward figma, so pointless. And it's been overproduced to hell so I wouldn't be able to sell it for a good price.
