I Rewatched The First Pokémon Movie And It Messed Me Up Real Good

by Patricia Hernandez
Dsider

The important point being made here of course is how that orchestrated soundtrack was all replaced over here in the US with HOT GARBAGE. THE HOTTEST GARBAGE.

It’s been 17 years since the original release of Pokémon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back. Since then, there’s been 19 other Pokémon movies. For veteran Pokémon players, I’m guessing that none of the newer movies match up to the original one, though.

I don't think I've seen that Suicide Squad trailer, but I do like the way they cut this one.

We’ve seen a bunch of awesome The Force Awakens mashups already, but the next big thing seems to be Suicide Squad-styled trailers with Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. First up? Lord of the Rings.

Two Final Fantasy Legends Now Working On A Mobile Strategy Game

by Luke Plunkett
Dsider

I was understandably upset at first, but then they said it was more like an "Advance Wars" style game? Either way, not a fan of the visual style as it stands.

Yoshitaka Amano is famous for his Final Fantasy art. Nobuo Uematsu is famous for his Final Fantasy music. The two are back working together on a new game, only instead of it being a JRPG, it’s an “an esports-driven mobile title”.

The Music Videos Are My Favorite Part of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem

by Richard Eisenbeis
Dsider

Like... I just... think about that headline for a moment. When would you have ever said that about any entry in either series, save for *maybe* one.

I just want them to have an official name we can all call it here instead, one which doesn't make my mind continue to associate it with either series and allows me to enjoy it as its own thing.

When I started playing Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, I expected a lot of things: summonable demons, Fire Emblem characters , turn-based RPG gameplay , etc. What I didn’t expect? A ton of animated music videos for the game’s rocking soundtrack.
