Mojang has been slowly teasing out details about the next big update for Minecraft dubbed for a while now. This Tuesday, the team decided to drop a bombshell on fans of the legendary PC game in the form of a quiet little YouTube video announcing how players will soon be able "to create their own wild and crazy terrain!"

BioWare Returns To Its Roots With The Next Dragon Age On October 7th
DsiderAgh no! Can't get excited over this! They have too much they need to prove since the last one! I'm really gonna need a demo of this.
We've seen Dragon Age: Inquisition in action , and have even detailed many of its new and returning features, but the question remains: what is the game actually about at its core?
Batman Battles The Suicide Squad In The New Assault On Arkham Movie
Batman's next straight-to-DVD animated adventure is set in the Arkham Asylum videogame universe, although you'd be hard-pressed to tell from this trailer. Still, watching the Suicide Squad get caught between Batman and the Joker seems like a good time no matter what.
The Trash Cannon Is Mankind's Greatest, Most Dangerous Invention
DsiderKnowing a Polish coworker who now lives there again, I can confirm that this kind of shit happens on a regular basis.
This isn't the Kerbal Space Program. It's the Polish space program.
We're Getting The Sequel To Theatrhythm Final Fantasy
DsiderI do like how it features music from games that we never got here.
Already announced for Japan, the sequel to Square's wonderful rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is coming to North America in 2014.
This Twisting Mirror Bridge Reflects Every Detail of a Shanghai Street
DsiderI'd feel so worried over bumping my head into this somehow.
UNStudio has created a beautifully constructed archway that brightens up the retail sphere of Xintiandi Mall in China. Because it's lined with mirrors, you can track your movements from beginning to end and watch your surroundings skip playfully across the different planes of the mall's entrance. It's like walking down the inside of a wormhole—except you stay safely grounded in both time and space.
Brilliant Special Effects Give Little Boy One Hell Of A Commute
DsiderSilly
I've watched this like five times so far. It's wonderful.
xombiedirge: Lego Ghost in the Shell 2 - The Doll by The Arvo...
DsiderPretty fucked up.

I wasn’t super keen on the second movie, but damn if I wouldn’t pay good money for this set regardless.
The Simpsons will air an entire episode in Lego
DsiderAnd I can't wait for the episode to start with an interesting concept and devolve within the first 2 minutes to:
- complete nonsense
- Marge is unhappy
- Lisa falls in love with the guest star
- make me want to watch older seasons
It's always beautiful when two awesome things collide. It's especially beautiful when those two things are The Simpsons and Lego. And that's exactly what we're going to see on May 4, when Fox will air an episode of The Simpsons in Lego form—or at least CGI Lego form.
The Banner Saga Art Print
DsiderStill have to pick this game up so I can leave it hanging around in my Steam library for safekeeping. Because I'm an idiot.
The Banner Saga art print by Gregory Sujkowski available at Society 6. I posted a closeup below:
aurahack: this is more or less accurate to the feedback i’d get...
DsiderYeah I don't actually know what this is
Here's What Happens When You Throw A Marshmallow Peep Out An Airlock
DsiderPro: silly peep inflation
Con: FILMED IN PORTRAIT MODE UGH AWEGWREHBWRGHR
Ever wondered what would happen if a marshmallow Peep was exposed to the cold, uncaring, probably Easter-hating vacuum of space? Of course you have.
Final Fantasy XIV Director's Tale of MMO Woe Has a Beautiful Ending
Dsider:O
The conclusion to Naoki Yoshida's MMO story is like something out of a fairy tale.
Manga Teaches Japanese Kids All About The Avengers
Some would argue that the current American comics industry is mainly focused on the 18 to 40 male audience, but in Japan, they're starting them young.
Minecraft Worlds, 3D-Printed. They're Amazing.
Looking at these photos makes me want a 3D printer so bad. Printing figurines or other small items is one thing, but entire Minecraft worlds? Minecraft enthusiast Dave Russell used Mineways, an open source 3D printer program, to bring all these blocky builds to life.
Nathan Fillion Paints Comic Book Art on the Most Unusual Bodyparts
Fan favorite Castle—and Firefly!—star Nathan Fillion was the guest of Conan O'Brien yesterday, and well, they've discussed things I didn't expect: DC and Marvel-themed nail polish.
It Took Seven Years To Make An Indie RPG So Good-Looking
Its creator started working on Platformer/RPG Heart Forth, Alicia in 2007. The result is an aesthetically beautiful game with a complex story, a detailed world and what looks to be pretty damn fun gameplay. Sadly, it's still not done.
Domino's Fried Chicken Crust Pizza: The Snacktaku Review
DsiderWhat the what!
Domino's Pizza doesn't call its strange new creation "Fried Chicken Crust Pizza", but that's pretty much what it is — breaded and fried chicken bites covered with sauce, cheese and toppings. They're rather odd.
Halo Theme's Composer Fired, Says Move Was "Without Cause"
DsiderGood job guys, you booted the guy who made the only thing I even like about Halo.
Marty O'Donnell, Bungie's in-house composer and the man responsible for Halo's iconic theme song, says he has been "terminated...without cause" by the studio.
How Islamic Art Can Influence Game Design
Islamic influenced art and imagery has cropped up in games from Journey to Prince of Persia, but now a couple of game developers are out to prove that despite its conspicuous rarity in the medium, Islamic art lends itself brilliantly to game design.
New Call of Duty DLC Has Snoop Dogg Announce Your Kills
DsiderNope, this is too late to be April Fool's. I don't even...
Wait, what? A few things. Why does this exist and why didn't this already exist? Regardless of the answers to these pressing questions, Call of Duty: Ghosts now officially has the best announcer in all of first-person shooters.
LEGO Builder Creates Life-Sized Hatsune Miku Statue
DsiderSure why not
Making a life-sized Hatsune Miku statue is not easy. What's more, it takes time. Lots and lots of time. This, for example, took six months' worth of work.
We've Already Found The Best Video Game Mod Of 2014 [UPDATE]
DsiderHAHA oh god. The gif doesn't even do it justice. You've gotta watch the video.
UPDATE (3:30pm): What we first thought was a bug is actually an intentional fan project, according to Telltale, the company behind The Wolf Among Us. "This is actually a fan made modification using existing game animation assets from a previous episode," a Telltale rep tells us. (The episode in question.) Kotaku's headline has been changed accordingly.
There Are Tiny People Living Amongst Our Oreos
There are a few Twitter accounts that can delight you on a daily basis. This is one of them.
Square Enix has closed their India-based mobile game studio, according to a report by MCV India.
DsiderBravo, they killed the infection before it spread any further.
Square Enix has closed their India-based mobile game studio, according to a report by MCV India. During its one year of operation, the studio hasn't released any games, although it was reportedly working with developers on several titles.
Japanese Commercial Sells Curry Rice with Complete Chaos
DsiderThey didn't even have to try so hard to sell me on instant curry rice, but they did anyway.
It really, really is chaos. Good chaos. Go on, have a look.
Look At This Amazing Disney Animated Firefly Mash-Up And Get Sad
...because it's so great and it'll never, ever happen. I don't know whether to praise artist Stephen Byrne for giving us this magnificent look at what might have been, or to curse his name to the heavens for taunting us with a joy we'll never know. But I may just go have a beer.
People Sure Do Hate When You Narrate Their Life
DsiderYeah, like this wasn't expected to happen.
I suppose the guys at Mega64 couldn't get enough of The Stanley Parable, because they decided to go out and narrate a bunch of people's lives to their faces. The results weren't too friendly.
Huge Collection Of Classic Games Needs A New Home
Dsider:(
Facing mounting financial pressure, the Danish museum Spilmuseet ("The Games Museum") is about to jettison a massive collection of classic video games and related hardware. And with nobody opening their doors yet, all these refugees of console wars past are still in need of a new home.
If EA Isn't The Worst Company In America, Who Is?
EA's reign as the Worst Company In America (note: as voted by readers of a website, not every human American) was ended this year, as the publishing giant was knocked out in the first round by Time-Warner Cable. So who went on to take EA's crown?
