"Fist of The North Star" Gets Stage Play Adaptation Featuring Thugs

by news+feed@crunchyroll.com
Darylsurat

This is sure to be terrible, but the fact that they're getting Shigeru Chiba to narrate it live and having Crystal King do the song is good. Too bad North Stars Pictures is cheap and continues the failed Raijin Comics business model for everything they own, thus preventing the now decade-old movies from being released here while also ensuring that any new anime for City Hunter/Fist of the North Star are either ultra-cheap or nonexistent

It is confirmed today that a stage play based on Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's post-apocalyptic action manga series Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo this September. The manga started its serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983 and this stage play is part of its 35th anniversary project.

As the title "Legend of the Century's End Thugs" suggests, the stage play will focus on the thugs of the Raoh army, instead of the main characters. The tagline is "The stage play of the thugs, only for the thugs, by the thugs." It will be performed at Theater G-Rosso in Tokyo eight times from September 6 to 10.

PV

Monsieur Yoshisaki's band Crystal King, who performed the first OP song for the TV anime in the mid-1980s,

"Ai o Torimodose!," will join the stage to perform the song with six-member idol group AouP. AouP member

Aoi Mizuki is also listed as the cast.

Announced main cast:

Ryuko Isogai (Senri Chitose in in The Prince of Tennis musicals)

Ryunosuke Kawai (Wakashi Hiyoshi in The Prince of Tennis musicals)

Juri (Jin Akutsu in The Prince of Tennis musicals)

Takeshi Hayashino (Hiroshi Chinen in The Prince of Tennis musicals)

Naomichi Hanazono (buyouka/traditional Japanese dance performer)

 Aoi Mizuki (AouP member)

Voice appearance: Shigeru Chiba (TV anime narrator, various thugs' voices)

Trump Got Advice From Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle Before Withdrawing From Paris Accord

by News Hound Ellen

Kimberly Guilfoyle deliberately dropped a bombshell on her Fox News colleagues Thursday night when she just happened to mention that Donald Trump had called her this morning to discuss a range of issues. Guilfoyle also revealed that she had reassured Trump about his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement - several hours in advance of his official announcement.

Media Matters caught Guilfoyle's startling disclosure which occurred in the middle of a discussion about Trump's decision to withdraw from the climate agreement:

KIMBERLY GUILFOYLE (CO-HOST): I don't think this is a deal that anybody should be crying about. Like we said, it's nonbinding, and the United States is already a clean energy, oil and gas leader. So, we can keep doing what we're doing, we can keep reducing our emissions. Why would we in fact put ourselves at an economic disadvantage, giving and subsidizing an economic windfall to other countries, in sort of a climate redistribution of wealth scheme? It makes no sense to me.

I think he did the brave and courageous thing, and in fact, I told him that this morning at 8AM, when he called. And I spoke to him about it, and this was something very much so on his mind, but he seemed like--

GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): Wait a second, who called you?

GUILFOYLE: The president.

GUTFELD: Why?

Scarborough On Mike Pence: 'It Appears That He Lied'

by Susie Madrak
Darylsurat

Of course, nothing will happen as a result because who's going to bust him on it

A lot of people think Pence will be the next president. I'm not so sure, because when someone like Joe Scarborough, in a conversation with New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush, openly calls a Republican VP a liar, it's because he doesn't expect him to be an issue:

GLENN THRUSH: Let me just backtrack for a second. You showed Sarah Huckabee Sanders. We now forget, almost like a sideshow, Mike Pence went up on Capitol Hill yesterday and told reporters that the president -- precisely the same thing that sarah huckabee sanders said -- the vice president of the United States, Joe, said the very exact same thing, that the deputy attorney general did this and Trump was following his recommendation.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: We don't know whether Sarah Huckabee Sanders was set up to go lie for the White House. We do know from your reporting that Mike Pence was in the room when Donald Trump decided that he wanted fire Jim Comey.

GLENN THRUSH: Not only that --

JOE SCARBOROUGH:: and it's much harder for Mike Pence to say I was given bad information. It appears he was not lied to. It appears that he lied.

Did You Vote For Unfair Pay And Unsafe Workplaces?

by Dave Johnson
Darylsurat

"Trump just signed a bill, passed by the Republicans in the House and Senate, that repealed President Obama's Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces executive order" may not show up on Google News because of whatever other BS he's doing today

Did You Vote For Unfair Pay And Unsafe Workplaces?

Who could be against fair pay and safe workplaces? Give you one guess.

President Trump just signed a bill, passed by the Republicans in the House and Senate, that repealed President Obama's Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces executive order.

"Fair pay and safe workplaces" says it all. The rule stated that our government should contract with companies that have "a satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics."

It required companies to report if they had violations of workplace laws covering wage theft, discrimination and safety, when applying for new government contracts of $500,000 to $1 million. The federal procurement officers would take that into consideration, and work with the companies to remedy the problems.

That is what President Trump and the Republicans repealed. This Trump/Republican government does not care if companies that have "a satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics." In fact, repealing this rule signals to companies that it is OK to "save money" by stealing pay from employees, violating their civil rights and threatening their safety.
