You’ve Never Seen These Graphic Prints On The Nike Air Max 90

by Patrick Johnson

You haven’t seen a graphic like this before. The Nike Air Max 90 has been reinvented countless times before, and now Nike’s revamping the classic retro running model thanks to an added dose of nylon and heavy graphics throughout. The electrical current-like appearance on the mudguard sees rays of primary colors contrast the muted grey base while hits of light blue and orange grab your attention on the Swoosh and tongue respectively. What do you think of the look? Check out more photos below and grab your pair from select shops today.

Far Lands: Minecraft’s Almighty 4K Render Distance

by Adam Smith

Minecraft [official site] with mind-blisteringly distant horizons, rendered to 4,000 blocks, looks like a different game. The world stretches in every direction, full of mystery and possibilities. The puniness of your constructions is laid bare as the enormity of nature seems prepared to swallow them whole. It’s stunning, as you can see in the video below.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' X-Wing Starfighter and Millennium Falcon Drones

by Hypebeast

Drones are all the rage right now, but mix that with the hype around the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film and you now have the hottest toy for the holiday season. Taking the silhouettes of the X-Wing Starfighter (in attack mode) and the infamous Millennium Falcon, these remote-controlled drones will control the skies wherever you may go. R2-D2 co-pilots the X-Wing Starfighter air vehicle, while the Millennium Falcon has the added abilities of hover and all-direction flight, thanks to its quadcopter fans and aerodynamic design. Both vehicles will be available at Air Hogs for $69.99 USD and $109.99 USD respectively.

This Is the Last Factory on Earth That Makes Cassette Tapes

by Hypebeast

Be honest, when was the last time you copped a cassette tape. 1993? Well, this factory believes the analog revolution is among us, and the cassette tape shall live on. National Audio Company based in Springfield, MO is the last factory in existence that still produces our beloved cassettes. While the business is obviously not what it used to be, president Steven Stepp and co. explain that there is still a huge subculture of fans that turn to the analog "warmth" and character. To much surprise, even in 2015, clients are still longing for its nostalgic feel, such as the producers of Guardians of the Galaxy and even heavy metal band Metallica. Check out the video above and be sure to dig out your old mixtapes from the closet the next time you hit up mom's house.

The BBC Teases its 'Grand Theft Auto' Docudrama

by Hypebeast

With its Grand Theft Auto special The Gamechangers nearing its September 15th air date, BBC2 has released a teaser trailer just long enough to cover the one-off drama's premise. Daniel Radcliffe's Sam Houser — a co-founder of GTA developer Rockstar Games — is forced to defend the series from virulent attorney Jack Thompson (Bill Paxton), who rages against the game's violence and its impact on children. There's a weird nationalist bent to the teaser, one I didn't expect: Thompson is incensed about "what little regard these Brits have for the welfare of our children," making it sound like Grand Theft Auto was part of a covert British campaign to ruin a generation of American youth with video games. The special is based on David Kushner's 2012 book Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto, which chronicled Houser and Thompson's prolonged legal battle in the wake of 2001's smash hit Grand Theft Auto III. Thompson's case against Houser was ultimately thrown out of court, and he was disbarred in Florida in 2008 for inappropriate conduct. THE MOVIE HAS INSPIRED ITS OWN SHARE OF LEGAL DRAMA The Gamechangers has inspired its own share of legal drama during production. The special was jeopardized in late May when Take-Two Interactive — Rockstar's parent company — filed a trademark infringement suit against the network, which had proceeded with filming the special without Take-Two's stamp of approval. "Our goal is to ensure that our trademarks are not misused in the BBC's pursuit of an unofficial depiction of purported events related to Rockstar Games," said Take-Two in a statement to Polygon. (The BBC declined to comment.) Take-Two still hasn't authorized the special, but that obviously hasn't impeded the drama's path to screens worldwide.

Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, may have filed a trademark infringement suit against the network, but that hasn't stopped the BBC's Grand Theft Auto docudrama from making its way to your television. Due out later this month, The Gamechangers stars Daniel Radcliffe as Sam Houser -- one of the Rockstar Games co-founders and the man who defended the violence of the GTA series against attorney Jack Thompson (Bill Paxton). Based on David Kushner's 2012 book Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto that chronicled Houser and Thompson's legal battle over Grand Theft Auto III, The Gamechangers is set to premiere on BBC2 September 15.
