The death of Beth is still weighing heavy on the gang in the upcoming brand new episode of The Walking Dead.
In the first two minutes of the episode, airing Sunday, Maggie is still crying, Noah is pouring his heart out to Rick, and the general mood is one giant sad emoji. (Don't worry, there's also some action.)
But is hope on the horizon? Or, at least, a new goal?
The new episode of The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

An 80-year-old Brooklyn movie theater that's been abandoned for decades, with only pigeons infesting its stage, is back — again a glittering gem from the 1920s.
After a two-year, $95 million renovation, the 3,200-seat Kings Theater in Flatbush reopens on Tuesday with a concert by Diana Ross, making it the largest in New York's biggest borough.
Thanks to Martinez+Johnson Architecture, which worked on the renovation, and the Associated Press, which got an early look at its completion, photos show the extend of the restoration. Read more...

Instagram's latest update to its iPhone app on Wednesday has a small but very important distinction: Now, videos in your feed will endlessly loop instead of playing once and stopping.
The Android version of the app was also recently updated with the same functionality
Instagram's main competitor in terms of video, Vine, already works this way, so it's not hard to see why Instagram made the switch. While some may find it annoying or excessive, it can be a convenience to viewers who want to re-watch short videos, especially when showing them to others Read more...

A few hours ago, we spotted no less than five mentions of "Android 5.1" on Google's Indonesian Android One page. Considering that 5.1 is quite a jump from 5.0.2, and something like 5.0.3 seemed more likely as the next bug fixer, we were cautious to suggest it may have been a mistake or a very persistent typo.
But as it turns out, Android 5.1 is real, and it's indeed shipping on Android One phones in Indonesia.

There is something in the water that is causing an epidemic of diving stick saves , and it is glorious. Here is Carter Hutton firmly declaring his candidacy for save of the year with this amazing reflexive swat, keeping Nashville's 4-3 lead intact late in the third period.

We don't know how Sabrina got this picture, or whether she did what she's claiming to have done with Julian Edelman, but she did say "no lie." Oh, to be a fly on the wall when she and Stephanie trade war stories...

You look at it again and again, on video taken from the field , in a still image from above, and you still can't quite grasp how it played out the way it did. Ricardo Lockette seemed wide open. Russell Wilson, his view screened by Brandon Browner standing up Jermaine Kearse (an absolutely vital condition for the interception), had no idea that Malcolm Butler was even there, let alone was anticipating everything.

Jimmy Fallon is ditching New York slush in favor of Los Angeles sunshine — but just for a week.
Fallon and his Tonight Show team opened the first of five episodes filmed in L.A. with a fitting tribute to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, full of basketball and neon baseball caps. The best part? Carlton makes a guest appearance.

The Miss Amazonas beauty pageant in Manaus, Brazil, looked more like a UFC fight on Friday when runner-up Sheislane Hayalla violently grabbed the crown off winner Carol Toledo's head and strutted off stage. Before sashaying behind the curtain, Hayalla blew a kiss to the crowd because, well, she still had a chance at Miss Congeniality. Or at least Miss Back the Eff Up.
Congrats, Internet. Left Shark has officially jumped the shark.
After Katy Perry's weird Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday, no one could stop talking about one of her dancers, dressed as a shark and standing on her left, who didn't seem to know the choreography very well
By Monday morning, the Internet was filled with every joke, GIF, meme and pun you could possibly make about sharks.
And now, less than 48 hours after its debut, Left Shark has died. Its death became official after a photograph of a Left Shark tattoo surfaced in a Reddit thread titled "LEFT SHARK FOREVER!" Read more...

Monopoly is a pastime about bankrupting your friends and rolling in that sweet — though fake — dough. But game tensions may be hotter for the 80 lucky people who unwrap Monopoly sets containing real cash.
As part of a promotion for the game's 80th anniversary in France, Hasbro has replaced the iconic paper bills with real euros in 80 regular Monopoly sets. One of those sets will have every play bill replaced with a real one for a total of 20,580 euros — about $23,268.
Ten sets will contain five 20-euro bills, two 50-euro bills and one 100-euro note, for a total of 300 euros, or around $370. Finally, 69 sets will contain five 10-euro bills and five 20-euro bills (150 euros or about $170) Read more...

We’re used to Samsung offering two base colors of their flagship smartphones to start, but a new leak suggests there will be even more options to choose from with the Samsung Galaxy S6. A total of four colors have been leaked for Samsung’s first flagship that uses a metal unibody build.
Spotted above, the colors range between your typical white, a dark blue option that Samsung has come to prefer, a tan or gold-colored option and a blueish-green option for those who like something a little more lively. There’s no telling if all of these colors will be available for every market or carrier (exclusive deals for a carrier to get a certain color option are often made) but it’s nice to know we won’t be limited to the usual roster of two.

With that, we also get our possible first look at some early renders of the device sitting inside the cases Verus is planning to launch. Two of the devices are clad with the white and dark color options mentioned above. The phone seems to have fairly round corners judging by the shape of the cases, and if these photos are anything to judge by then this could be the thinnest Galaxy S smartphone released to date.

As with any leak, though, you should take this with a grain of salt and remember that things could look completely different by the time Samsung decides to pack a few of these into a box and head toward Barcelona for Mobile World Congress on March 1st. We’ll be there providing live coverage of the announcement so keep it dialed into Phandroid to make sure you don’t miss it.
These two Irish Seahawks fans sneaked into the Super Bowl without tickets and ended up sitting in the fourth row.

After a December drenched by a Rainpocalypse, San Francisco did not see a single drop of rain in the first month of 2015 — a first in record books that go back to 1850.
The city is one of many parched areas across California as the Golden State saw one of its driest Januaries on record, according to preliminary rainfall totals. At what should be the height of the rainy season, many northern California cities got no measurable rainfall last month as the state heads into the fourth consecutive year of crippling drought.
More about Us World, California Drought, and ClimateAmid reports that Uber could soon begin building their own fleet of driver-less cars, comes Bloomberg with a report that now Google is preparing to announce their own taxi-like service to go head-to-head with Uber. Although details aren’t entirely clear at this point, Google could employ the use of their new driver-less car tech you’ve likely seen covered all over the news in recent months. At least in some limited capacity.
Apparently word got out after David Drummond, Google’s senior vice president of corporate development and chief legal officer, revealed Google’s plans to Uber, with a few Uber employees already in possession of screenshots of the mobile app Google allegedly plans on using. The weird part is that Google has heavily invested in Uber — most recently around $258 million — and has even gone as far as integrating Uber functionality in their Maps application. Drummond, who is on Uber’s board of directors, could soon be asked to resign over an obvious conflict of interest.

Last night was the Super Bowl, I guess. I heard something about a shark and stopped asking questions. But then today I was reading some celebrity gossip blogs and one of my favorite bloggers noted that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon spent the Super Bowl together... at Jimmy Kimmel's house? With... Grantland editor Bill Simmons?!? And the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, one of whom tweeted the below picture, which is what I imagine the scene at the gates of Hell to look like?

If you're like us, visions of dancing sharks, palm trees and beach balls likely distracted you from the creepiest moment of Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime performance.
Lucky for us, a hawk-eyed Reddit user spotted a smiling hooded figure standing behind Perry, just as she launches into the first verse of "Teenage Dream."
It's unclear whether this poor guy is operating the enormous ocean prop before him, or if he's just standing there for kicks. Either way, his presence is an unsettling sight
Here's a clear shot of the mysterious guy in action
In short: Keep your windows locked, Katy

The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl, but Chris Pratt and Chris Evans are the real champions.
The two stars made a bet last month, setting super high and super heartwarming stakes: If the Patriots won, Chris Pratt (who grew up in Washington) must visit Christopher's Haven in Boston dressed as Star-Lord, and if the Seattle Seahawks won, Chris Evans (who hails from Boston) must visit Seattle Children's Hospital dressed as Captain America.

As winter slowly loosens its grip on the northern hemisphere, gadget nerds everywhere poke their noses above ground, looking to see if we'll soon have new hardware to drool over or six more weeks of relatively stale news. Easily the most anticipated springtime hardware announcement of the last few years has been Samsung's annual flagship refresh, and it looks like that will be coming on March 1st. The South Korean manufacturer has sent out invitations to its next "Unpacked" event at Mobile World Congress.
Technically Unpacked isn't a formal part of MWC in Barcelona - Samsung secures its own venue for the announcement and invites press separately.

PHOENIX — Like the fireworks soaring straight toward the sky at the end of Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show, camera phones and GoPro cameras rose in the stands in the hands of fans wanting to forever capture the explosive 13-minute spectacle
The GoPro footage, above, shows a different perspective than what more than 100 million estimated viewers saw on TV. From the 13th row, the production looks enormous, though you're unable to see the full impact of the special effects illuminating from the floor
Her performance was tailor-made for the massive television audience, but from inside it was hard to see the entertaining details — the choreography, the facial expressions and the outfits, without turning your head away from the field to watch the action on the big screens. Read more...

Now, let us debate: Is the Seahawk pooping the football, or laying it like an egg? This is surely the most pressing issue from last night's Super Bowl.

Legacies turn on so little. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick take their places among the greatest of all time, and Pete Carroll instantly goes from defending champion/genius to goat, all thanks to one inexplicable play call , yes, but even more so because of one aggressive move from a rookie who wasn't even supposed to be in the game.
