Around 8 p.m. last night, three inmates at the Orsainville Detention Centre outside of Quebec City fled the jail as they were whisked away by a green helicopter that had touched down on the property. This counts as the second time this kind of escape has happened in Canada in only two years.

As far as pranks go, having a man dressed up as a terrifying owl monster creep up on people scoping out an abandoned children's hospital is pretty good. Federal authorities shutdown a major synthetic marijuana manufacturing organization out of Dallas. The Gas Pipe smoke shop is at the center of the investigation. 

Law enforcement has shutdown 11 total shops, including two Austin locations. Federal authorities have seized almost $3-million, real-estate properties, and cars as well as arresting the man they believe to be at the head of the ring responsible for the K-2 or 'spice' production. This comes after over 120 reported overdoses from the drug in Texas alone. Customers outside the GasPipe Burnet location say, they've heard a lot about the drug.

Authorities say the drug is difficult to regulate because manufacturers tend to frequently change the ingredients.
