As you probably recall, several members of the Back To The Future cast had to don lots of makeup to look older for the “present” ’80s portion of the movie. Reddit user Native-New-Yawkah posted the above comparison of what the actors looked like with the “aging” movie makeup to make them look 30 years older versus what they actually look like having genuinely aged around 30 years since the movie was made.

All-in-all, it looks like the makeup people were pretty accurate.

Ok, Science Fiction Theater is on tonight so I have to go now. Going to skip the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance to watch it. I have my priorities, thank you.

Spider-Man’s suit has a lot of webbing, and it has to make painting it on a challenge. Artist W. Verissimo was up to the task though! He carefully painted Brazilian model Juju Salimeni as the superhero. She wore a device around her neck that blocked her from seeing what Verissimo was painting until the masterpiece was completed. He did an amazing job, and it’s safe to say she makes Spider-Man look sexier than ever.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - The weekend sales tax holiday is here.  The annual Texas sales tax holiday begins Friday, with tax breaks on certain items through Sunday as families prepare to send children back to school.

The Texas sales tax holiday has been an annual event since 1999.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs has said the law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks priced under $100 from sales and use taxes. Experts say that could save about $8 on every $100 spent, with some exceptions.

State officials estimate shoppers will save more than $74 million in state and local sales taxes this weekend.

Most people look at palm reading as something that’s just for fun, but there are those who take it seriously. People in Japan certainly do, to the point they are now shelling out about $1,000 to have Shonan Beauty Clinic plastic surgeon Takaaki Matsuoka burn better creases into their palms.

From January 2011 to May 2013, 37 palm plastic surgeries have been performed at the Shonan Beauty Clinic alone. Matsuoka isn’t too sure that this surgery can actually change fate. However, he believes it may have a placebo effect on his patients. If someone believes their luck will improve, it just might. Men usually wish to change their business related success lines, such as the fate line, the money-luck line, and the financial line. Whereas, women often want to change their marriage line.

That’s one expensive and painful placebo.

The NCAA is investigating Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, after sources say they witnessed him accepting money for autographs.

ESPN's Outside the Lines reports that three sources say the Texas A&M quarterback signed photos, footballs and other memorabilia at the request of Drew Tieman, a known autograph broker, for a five-figure flat fee. They say Tieman approached Manziel in in Florida when he was visiting Miami for the Discover BCS National Championship. Manziel allegedly signed hundreds of items later at Tieman's apartment. The sources did not see the actual exchange of money. If the investigation reveals that he did violate the bylaw of accepting money for promoting or advertising the commercial sale of a product or service, the NCAA could rule him ineligible.
