Outra coisa funny do artigo é a foto com aquele monte de palavras projetadas atrás do Ecim. Suponho que os tamanhos diferentes devem dar uma noção da prioridade propagandística de cada coisa. ;)

Um detalhe interessante que ele menciona na carta é que a NSA guarda logs até de pornografia que você olha, se for preciso "danificar a reputação" da pessoa depois. (O que na mistura esquisita de liberalismo e puritanismo do Zuza talvez seja importante. Aqui no Brasil acho que causaria reações de "ah, eu também já fui nesse site". =)

First remembered dream in a while. Kind of strange.
LuciocFicar superamigo de um tubarão-tigre que salvou sua vida (!!!) é "kind of strange".
I had a dream last night that was sort of unusual. The earliest part I remember was being stranded out at sea and being rescued by a tiger shark, and he let me hold onto his dorsal fin all the way to shore. During that time we became super good friends (BFF status) so I thought it would be a good idea to bring him closer to where I lived so we could hang out I guess. (I guess the town I lived in in the dream had a small uphill stream which was saltwater)
Anyways, this almost gutter punk guy I know who's a fad environmentalist with a bunch of his activist crew were standing at this bottleneck in the stream, where they proceded to throw ignited bottles of gasoline (molotov coctails) at my shark friend, exploding on impact and killing him instantly. Fuck.
I guess their reasoning was that there had been a surge in shark-related violence and environmentally-responsible reasons for killing the shark, because of gangs of mean sharks entering in through the stream. Still, it was a painful experience, even though I don't know any sharks IRL.
TLDR: I made an authentic friendship with a shark, and when I tried to bring him home environmentalists killed him on sight because of ongoing shark problems

A “snowstorm of rare intensity” has dumped nearly three feet of snow on Jerusalem since yesterday, choking off the city. In the West Bank, the branches of olive trees groaned under the weight of snow.
Jerusalem’s mayor, Nir Barkat, likened the storm to a snow tsunami.
Hundreds have been stranded in vehicles on impassable roads, and all highways leading into the city have been closed until further notice.
The extent of the storm overburdened Jerusalem’s rescue services.
The Israeli military helped rescue hundreds of people stranded in vehicles on highways near Jerusalem.
Tree branches falling onto power lines have left thousands without electricity.

TIL a Study Suggests That Mormons Can Be Picked Out From Other People By Sight Alone
LuciocEu fico com a impressão de que os Mórmons têm uma cara meio distinta dos americanos "comuns" também, mas me parece uma coisa meio racial - a frequência de gente muito loura entre os Mórmons anedoticamente me parece mais alta que no resto dos americanos brancos.
Não ficou claro se o estudo controlou esses fatores raciais. A conclusão do cara do estudo é que os Mórmons eram identificados por textura da pele, porque levam um estilo de vida ultra-saudável e são mais longevos.

Weird reoccurring dream when I was a kid. Thoughts?
LuciocRealmente é "weird". Eu nunca sonhei que me transformei num tapete de pele de urso. =(
When I was a kid I had this dream over and over again. Every time would be a little different, but not much. My dad, my sister, and I would be walking in the woods. Suddenly a bear attacks me and my dad and sister do nothing to stop it. It eats me, but I'm still alive and not in pain. Just scared. Then my dad and sister are walking into a store at the mall in the town I'm from, and there is a rug made of a bear, you know... The kind you see in a fancy cabin, the kind that would have no business being in this particular store. I am inside the bear-- so I guess the bear that ate me was killed and turned into a rug, yet I was still alive. I could see my dad and sister walking into the store from inside of this bear, and desperately tried to scream for help, but could not make a sound. As dumb and unrealistic as this dream was, every time I was IN the dream it felt so fucking real it was terrifying, and like I said it happened over and over. It's hard to research the meaning of a dream this 'out there'. Thoughts?
