Via Ross Wolfe we found out about this series of of paper models of modern buildings in Warsaw, Poland, reminding the work of street artist Evol, and contributing to a new vague of general ostalgic appreciation for 1960′s and 70′s Brutalist aesthetics.
The cardboard sets were designed by Zupagrafika and feature “iconic examples of functional architecture (Rotunda PKO), some less classic buildings, however, familiar to the city dwellers (Za Żelazną Bramą, Smolna 8, Mokotów), as well as ”Wielka Płyta” prefab bloks from the outskirts (Tarchomin)”.
You can order the complete collection online from: www.zupagrafika.com or buy it in Warsaw: Bęc Zmiana Mokotowska 65, Galeria Kuratorium Sienna 43A.
