Lrbeverawwwww... the only bacon I no wants.
There are many ways to cope with grief, but none are as satisfying as binging on mounds of food. A sudden breakup, the death of a loved one, and unexpected unemployment can all be solved with a few gallons of ice cream, or a pile of bacon, if you're asking the Germans.
The German word Kummerspeck is the weight someone puts on from emotion-related overeating. A literal translation of the word reveals one of the best ways to describe the practice: “Grief bacon.”
English isn't nearly as literal with their words as other languages. The Albanians have 27 words for eyebrows as well as mustache that all describe different aspects from bushy to where it droops. In English, any type of hair over the lip is a mustache, which must then be described further with different, descriptive words.
There are some words that English lacks that might baffle you when you think about it. What's the space behind your knee or elbow called? The Afrikaans call it “waal,” getting right to the point without taking the time to have to describe or point to the area in question. Maybe it's time we update our dictionary and come up with some new words?
LrbeverAwwww.. I loved this blog of daily Twilights.

Well guys, it’s been a whole year since I started Twily Daily! It hasn’t been perfect, and I did have to miss a few days here and there, but I’m still pretty amazed I managed to get this far. I just want to say thanks to all of you for following and giving so many kind words, it really helped inspire me to keep this blog running. I never would have expected it to get as popular as it did, or last as long as it has.
Now, here comes the sad news… I’ve decided to retire this blog. I think a year is a good place to stop. Thinking of something new to draw every day is fun, but it’s not easy! I honestly don’t know how much longer this blog would keep going, so I think it’s best I quit while I’m ahead. Again, I can’t thank you all enough for the support, it means so much to me.
I’m glad I was able to give you guys a smile once a day.
LrbeverApparently someone's making a fanfiction crossover with Ponies and the Da Vinci Code. Interesting.

Lrbevermmmmmmmm

LrbeverI'm sure you don't know who this is, but it's just a reminder for me to show a wrestling buddy. But he did voice Tony the Tiger, so there's that at least.

Legendary voice of "Tony the Tiger," but to wrestling fans, longtime important voice of Verne Gagne's AWA as well as key contributor to WCW for many years, has passed away.
Multiple sources, one of the earliest being this one from KFBK AM in Sacramento, are reporting that Lee Marshall passed away on Saturday.
Most non-wrestling fans will know Lee as the voice of "Tony the Tiger" for Frosted Flakes, a position he acquired in 2005 when he replaced Thurl Ravenscroft.
In addition to his work as a newsman for numerous radio stations, including KABC as well as stints in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Ontario, Marshall was a major voice in the pro wrestling industry for many years. He was the ring announcer for the California portion of Wrestlemania 2, but is most known for his work as the play by play voice of Verne Gagne's American Wrestling Association (AWA). He would later join WCW where he worked on WCW Saturday Night and eventually as a co-host on TBS' WCW Thunder. He also was a fixture on the WCW Hotline. For the weekly WCW Monday Nitro broadcasts, Marshall filed "Road Reports" as he helped to plug future events and also take comical digs at his longtime friend Bobby Heenan.
As of the current time, no cause of death is listed. KFBK says fans are leaving condolences for Marshall on his Facebook page, which can be viewed here.
We at Cageside Seats join the wrestling community in mourning the loss of Lee Marshall, a man whose contributions will not be forgotten and a man whose voice was unlike any other. We offer condolences to his family and loved ones.
Stay tuned for any updates as the story develops.
LrbeverThis one is great!
