This week I hit 10,000 followers! No idea if that’s impressive or not on the grand tumblr scale, but I’m pretty jazzed about it.

Also, the music video I made is getting released sometime around halloween. So there’s that.

It’s easy for me to get caught up in life’s day-to-day stresses that I end up missing all of the good stuff that happens, and so it seemed worth reflecting on what 2013 meant to me.  A little late to the party, but what the hell!

I’m still trying to figure out what I want and need 2014 to be, but some big takeaways:  more sleep, more art for me and not for the churning masses, more time spent in isolated cabins in the woods.  Less stress.

In the meantime, THANK YOU GUYS!  Thanks for sticking around.  Happy New Year.

Cyan released my second piece of concept art for the Obduction Kickstarter- so much fun to paint this guy.

My finished piece for Light Grey Art Lab's ROLEMODELS: The Battle for Vyk'Tornaahl show, which opens this Friday!

This was an insanely cool idea for an art show- all of the participating artists were asked to draw themselves as RPG characters, the results of which were then compiled into a working card game. I'm Hrimgunnr Kolfrost, an ornery ranger from the Norther Kingdom with a penchant for big guns and smush-faced dogs. Makes sense.

Cyan launched their Obduction Kickstarter yesterday to roaring success, and so I can finally post the first piece of mine that they've shown! I've been lucky enough to be helping them out behind the scenes for the past couple of months, and the little seven-year-old in me is flipping out to be involved with Cyan in any way, shape, or form.

Not sure how much I can say about the design since most everything's still under wraps, but there are a lot of clues to draw from. So go check out the Kickstarter, and contribute if you can! I guarantee that this'll be a project worth following.
