Google Play Music giving away Jason Mraz album ‘We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.’
Google Play Music occasionally offers free albums for people to download, and this time they made a really good selection. The service is offering the album “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.” by Jason Mraz for free.
This album is fantastic. You may have heard a few of the songs on the radio (again and again and again) but the whole album is really well made, with varied music and lots of talent. “Details in the Fabric” is an especially good song.
Unfortunately, this deal is only available in the US. If you want to give it a listen, hit the source link and add it to your library!

“Also, any good ideas I had came from Plato, I admit it and I can never take it back, signed Socrates P. Philosopher” by Plato is also a great read and a cornerstone of modern philosophy.
But, yeah, Socrates really did distrust writing stuff down because he thought he would make people dependent. Well, suck it, Socrates! We have cellphones and Google now and no one can remember anything!

Twitter now supports 140-second videos
Twitter continues to roll on with changes, which has already included a visual refresh for Android users that bring it in line with Material Design and not counting images against the 140-character limit.
Now Twitter is extending the length of videos that users have when they upload a video. Up to this point, Twitter only allowed videos up to 30 seconds, but now users can post videos that are 140 seconds long. The new video support rolls out today.
There are a few other changes in store, too. That includes new suggested videos, which Twitter will populate for you to check out after you’ve watched a video uploaded to the platform. They’ll be Twitter and Vine videos, too, so they’re keeping it in the family. Twitter says this change is coming soon for Android (and iOS) users.
It’s probably worth noting that 140-second videos are also coming to Vine, so prepare yourself accordingly.
Do you post a lot of videos to Twitter?

Hello out there! I’ll be moving in the coming weeks, so I’m going to be reducing my update schedule down to 3 days a week to have enough time to get ready. I’ll be updating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope y’all understand!
Also, moving’s expensive, there’s no better time to buy my book! I sign and doodle in all copies. :)

Scott Baio is a moron
This week Baio went from obscure trivia answer to national laughing stock when he appeared on Fox Business to float the idea that President Obama is a secret Muslim whose “end game”is to “totally eliminate the United States as it was created.”
When a user attempted to show Baio how offensive it is to casually fling around unsubstantiated allegations, he missed the point entirely and responded by telling her she wasn’t allowed to “assume, think or hypothetically say” a joke about him or he would sue her for defamation.
Android Security Rewards has paid out over $550k so far
Google created Android Security Rewards to reward people for finding security vulnerabilities in Android. And the reward was cash, which is the best kind of reward. To date, Google has paid out over $550,000!
There were 82 individuals who were paid, 15 of which got over $10,000. Many of the vulnerabilities were related to the Media Server, which was a significant problem before its vulnerabilities were patched. And surprisingly, no one has claimed the top reward for a complete remote exploit chain leading to TrustZone or Verified Boot compromise.
Since the program has been a success for Google and those finding security vulnerabilities, Google is making the deal even better. High quality vulnerability reports with proof of concept get a 33% pay bump, and ones with a patch get an additional 50% bump. There are other rewards that have been increased as well.
The great thing about security exploits is that there is no shortage of them. As the software evolves, old ones are patched and new ones come up. So if you know what you’re doing, start participating and get paid for it!

KettlePizza Gas Pro Kit Giveaway
Pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening, pizza at suppertime. With great pleasure and many sighs of satisfaction. Click here and enter to win a KettlePizza Gas Pro Kit from KettlePizza! A $325 value!
This giveaway is open to US residents only.
About the KettlePizza Gas Pro Kit
Hot off the presses grill propane or natural gas grill: the KettlePizza Gas Pro insert!
KettlePizza has been livin' the pie life with their charcoal kettle grill kits for over 5 years now. Those inserts take homely, mediocre 22-1/2" kettle grills, such as Webers and Stoks, and magically transform them into flashy, gourmet pizza ovens capable of putting wood-fired New York slices, Chicago deep dish, and even bacon wrapped bacon in a bacon bowl to shame.
This month, though, KettlePizza has upped the ante--or at least the access to perfectly crisp crusts and hot, gooey, meat-permeated cheese centers--with their KettlePizza Gas Pro Kit. Now anyone with nearly any type of grill can make restaurant-quality pizza in their backyard, without spending thousands (or even one thousand, or even five hundred) of dollars on a giant, space-consuming oven.
The KettlePizza Gas Pro insert and stone pair with propane / gas grills to create a cooking chamber--focused heat that cooks the bottoms and tops of your pizzas evenly and as the gods of provolone and pepperoni intended. The Gas Pro is compatible with grills with at least 3 burners and a cooking area of 24" wide x 17" deep.
The KettlePizza Gas Pro fires pizzas from raw to "Mine! All mine!" in just 7 minutes. It can also help you grill other food, including expertly seared, juicy steaks, and buttery, heated-to-the-bones-but-not-burnt garlic bread. To see usage instructions and videos, click here.
KettlePizza uses 0.135" thick American-made stainless steel for its enclosure. At a hefty 16 pounds (don't worry, it has an integrated carrying handle) they say it will last a lifetime. The kit's pizza stone is 15" round, made of 1/2" thick American cordierite. This prize package also includes a high temperature, enclosure-mounted thermometer, and aluminum peel with maple handle and integrated bottle opener, and a pair of KettlePizza Leather Grill Gloves.

Bone Conduction Bluetooth Headphones
While it sounds like a calibrated method of torture, bone conduction is actually a natural human feature. When we hear sounds, they reach us by traveling through both our eardrums and our bones. These bone phones...as it were...from SainSonic have honed the bone...as it were...and use vibrations deliver sound exclusively through our face and skull.
The upside to SainSonic headphones' bone conduction method is that it unblocks your ears during use, so you can still hear car engines, horns, people shouting, dogs barking--all the things you'd like to use your headphones to block out, but that could present a safety concern depending on where you're using them. And, no joke, the other day I saw a dude rocking out at a bus stop completely ignore a bus driver pull up, wave and yell at him to see if he needed to get on the bus, and finally drive off. The second the bus pulls away the dude looks up, jumps up, and starts chasing after it because he has finally returned to reality and realized he just missed his bus.
In addition to not requiring ear canals, SainSonic headphones also do not require wires. The Bluetooth devices wrap around your head and rest on your cheeks cord-free. They connect to devices up to 10 meters away, including smartphones for conversations and conference calls. They also pair with Siri if you're an iPhone user.
Get your bone conduction headphones for 30% off retail price for a limited time.

Chef'n Cob Corn Stripper
This Cob Corn Stripper (not to be confused with a lady in a cornfield on a Hitch 'Er Up Stripper Pole) better work damn good, and without making a mess, because despite my rant last week about breaking up ground beef in a skillet, I have discovered a new biggest P in the A kitchen task: stripping corn.
It's not like de-kerneling a corn cob with a knife is hard, but it is hard to do without making a huge mess of kernels and husk remnants and corn juice flying all over the kitchen. And when the precariously positioned cob slips during stripping...hope you like blood in your fresh salsa.
Chef'n says their twist & push Cob Corn Stripper removes all hassle associated with fresh corn kernel acquisition. The compact cylinder is lined with stainless steel blades that strip cobs in seconds as you make a single twisting-pushing combo move. At printing, the Cob Corn Stripper was a new item in Chef'n's line, and had only 2 reviews. For what that's worth, both gave it 5 stars and said it "works great" and "works beautifully."
48 people were shot during a 15-hour filibuster on gun control
Yesterday, in an effort to force legislative action on gun control, Sen. Chris Murphy staged a 15-hour filibuster on the Senate floor. It lasted from 11 am Wednesday through 2 am Thursday, eventually ending with the GOP agreeing to vote on a gun control bill.
As politicians recounted stories of gun violence before the Senate, there were 38 shootings that killed 12 people and injured 36 more across America.
