I don’t know how you guys spent your childhood Saturday mornings, but I have fond memories of waking up when it was still dark outside and turning on the TV to watch episodes of Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog back-to-back. That Mega Man series ended after only a couple seasons, but the Blue Bomber looks to be returning to the small screen soon.

Dentsu Entertainment USA and Man of Action Entertainment are developing a brand new 26-episode Mega Man animated TV series to air worldwide. Man of Action Entertainment is creating, writing, and executive producing the show, targeting a 2017 premiere to coincide with the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Dentsu will mange the worldwide broadcast and licensing rights.
