LOS ANGELES, CA – After cancelling the remaining 2015 tour dates because doctors determined Chad Kroeger can’t sing, Nickelback announced they’re putting out a greatest hits album consisting of 19 previously unreleased tracks. All of which are completely inaudible.
“I think this is our best work yet.” boasts front man Chad Kroeger while browsing on his Blackberry for a fedora. “We had a lot of fun recording this, all of us in the studio being as quiet as we can. Our engineer was over the moon about this project. He said we should’ve been doing this since we started.”
Rhythm guitarist and Chad’s brother, Khad Kroeger was considering a different sound. “I was thinking about taking guitar lessons before this record, but I figured the whole ‘musically talented’ thing has been done before. We’ve made it this far with smoke and mirrors, why fix what’s irreparable, you know?”
“There was one day in the studio that tested us all,” recalls drummer Xhad Kroeger. “We were all standing in the booth, surrounding a mic with our hands over our mouths careful not to make a sound. Then I farted. We had to start the take over again, because of our artistic integrity. I just kept thinking to myself ‘this is for the people, this is what they want’ and it was easy to keep my mouth and my buttocks shut.”
No release date has been announced, but fans can hardly wait. Bassist Qrzhuad Kroeger could not be reached for comment because he too busy making love to a goat in Detroit.

He’s going to play the same fucking version of Wagon Wheel we’ve heard 1000 times. He morphs into a humanized dictionary definition of ‘socially inept’. He cheerfully asks, “hey guys, who wants to hear a few tunes,” and starts strumming before he could hear the room collapse into a collective sigh.
Oh no, it’s happening.
No. It’s different this time. “He began playing Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” states one female partygoer. “So I instinctively looked for a rope to hang myself with, but then he started singing. The lyrics were Wonderwall, but he was playing Green Day on the guitar. My mind was blown. I just wanted to have sex with him right then and there.”
“As amazing as that was, that’s not where the magic happened,” another young lady adds. “I was in the bathroom cleaning raspberry vodka infused vomit out of my hair because my name is something like Amber or Becky, but I could still hear it. After the chorus he switched the guitar chords to Wonderwall and was singing Boulevard of Broken Dreams. That has never, ever been done before. There is not even a word in the English language for mashing-up two songs together. I couldn’t handle that much genius talent before me. I simply had to take off my clothes because I also wanted to sleep with him, or maybe joined in with you guys for a little threesome.”
Her boyfriend wasn’t impressed. “I was so mad when all of this was happening. Actually, I was furious because I wasn’t having sex with him. I wouldn’t be upset at all if my girl went home with him that night. If she sleeps with him, then she comes home to me, it’s almost like I had sex with the musical messiah, especially since she never showers when she’s hungover. I learned so much about life and myself that night. I think I’m going to go back to school. Do some volunteering. Give back what I gained from that evening.” His girlfriend Amber, or whatever, agreed. “I too feel like the world is a better place. I haven’t spoke to my parents in a long time. I should call my dad, or my mom, or my equally disappointed set of step-parents and let them know everything is going to be alright.”

“This woman is a political prisoner, persecuted because of her race” adds the DA, who plans to drop all charges. “I too suffer from WGP [white girl problems] and am sick of people trying to hold me accountable for my unreasonable, borderline psychotic reactions to tedious things. Her boyfriend could’ve been doing anything during those 11 minutes, like sleeping with other women. I can’t even imagine the level of anxiety she must’ve felt while sharpening that selfie-stick, waiting for him to return home. The man survived the attack but we will be filing assault charges against him and pursuing the death penalty.”
This is what we create. Our jokes are weird, and go to places that I can't help but adore. Also the change in tone really made things work! I haven't had much chance to experiment with dynamic lighting like this, so this felt like a nice change.
Oh yeah, the first few panels were inspired by Powell's City of Books, a bookstore that I love going to, but rarely do. In the comic it's called Bowell's, whose books are shelved in a strange rainbow-esque fashion.
Powell's City of Books is quite magical, and if you ever have the chance, you should definitely check it out.

For some added context, the kidnapper only has flying-type Pokemon, so Brock is actually spot on here.
You'd be surprised how easy it is to swap the word "Pokemon" for "skills" in everyday life. It sure would make job interviews a bit more fun ("So Mr. Anderson...what kind of Pokemon will you bring to our company?").
And yeah, I know that the full name of the upcoming game is actually Pokken Tournament, but we took some creative liberties here. I can't tell how good or bad it will be from the videos coming out about the Japanese version, but hey - you get to play as Pikachu dressed up as a Mexican wrestler. Nuff said.

"I attended my first Star Wars Celebration this year, and I knew I was meeting Mark Hamill with a photo op for my first time ever. So, for fun and last minute I thought it would be a lot of fun to create a mash up with Harley Quinn and Star Wars inspired to meet him with! I decided on a Harley Fett inspired costume, because I'd been wanting to make a custom Mando type costume anyways, and I really love classic Harley! I re painted a Boba Fett Hasbro helmet with Harley colors, and used craft foam to add the diamond patterns on the helmet. I tried to add some "wear" to the helmet look also. I used a type of floor installation foam for my armor, and my cape was half red/black. I had an old toy blaster and just painted it, and I wore my full Harley Makeup, with mask, and a blonde curled pig tailed wig! I really had a lot of fun!
It was the best day of my life getting to meet Mark Hamill known deep to my heart as Luke of Star Wars and my Joker from Batman the Animated Series, and yes, when he saw me, he called me his Harley, did his Joker Voice, and the laugh. I was in Shock, and in tears. I could have died happily than... The costume was changeling created last minute and in two days, but for that single moment, it was totally worth it!
