Will Smith says there "might be a future" for him in politics
Well, he did play a crucial part in the war against the aliens in the mid-90s, and war heroes do tend to do well in politics.

Awaken the Force within your Google apps with new Star Wars customizations
If you thought there wasn’t enough hype leading up the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, think again. Google has just unveiled a new feature that will customize your Google apps and services to your liking. All you need to do is choose between the light side of the dark side. Google’s Star Wars customization are quite extensive, bringing unique designs to Android Wear, Chrome, Chromecast, Gmail, Inbox, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Now, Google Search, Google Translate, Waze, and YouTube on Android, iOS, Chromecast and desktop browsers.
To get started, just head over to google.com/starwars and choose which side of the Force you want to join. While each side has its merits, don’t spend too much time thinking it through. If you choose a side and later change your mind, just head back to the page and switch sides. Google has even implemented a tracking system, showing which side of the Force is more powerful at any given time. The dark side currently has the lead, but the scales could shift back and forth over the next few weeks. Since Google makes most of its money through advertisements, it’s no surprise that the company sold out to Disney to offer this unique experience to its users. While many will be debating which side of the Force they will choose, we’re more curious to find out how much money Google is making with this little stunt.
It’s obvious that Google’s chosen the dark side already, but we’re hoping you’ll leave us a comment to let us know which side if the Force you will choose.

Ultimate 18-in-1 Pocket Tool
Hey Tiger, I have an 18-in-1 pocket tool with your name face on it. The self-proclaimed ultimate in EDC multis, this credit card-sized tool packs a legal-aged lady's worth of functions into a super slim, super fly metal plate carved in the likeness of a beast of the jungle.
The tool weighs just 0.2 ounces and measures 1.1" long x 3.2" wide x 0.1" thick. In that smashed space it contains:
- A phone kickstand
- A fruit peeler
- A headphone wrap
- An inch and centimeter ruler
- A bottle, box, can, and letter opener
- 2 x screwdrivers, 1 flat head and 1 frame repair
- Heads 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 for nuts and bolts
The 18-in-1 pocket tool is also TSA-compliant for airplane transport, provided that if an agent asks you to remove the card from your wallet for inspection you don't shove it in his face yelling "Grrrrrrr!" as you hand it over. Get your tiger tool at 66% off retail value for a limited time from Dude Exclusives.
Rearview Hand Mirror
Now here's a footy way for bikers and cyclists to add an extra layer of safety to their rides. Cheaper than a bag of chips, and way cheaper than assuming nothing's there and being wrong, too. CIPA's rearview hand mirror consists of a convex lens attached to an adjustable Velcro strap that fits and functions over gloves, and on either the left or right hand. The mirror is also vibration-free so you won't vomit while looking at it. Unless you just ate the gluten-free vegan mac & cheese my girlfriend's cousin served us for dinner last night.
In addition to motorcycles and bicycles, CIPA recommends enhancing your rear view with their hand mirror on ATVs, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and self-balancing personal transporters.
Micro BB Crossbow
Dan JonesMust have
Why doesn't my Cubicle Warfare book include a chapter on How to Build a Micro BB Crossbow? Not that I wouldn't get fired for using it at the office. But we've had these "productivity enhancement strategy consultants" skulking around...no, bouncing off the walls...helping us put together a "productivity enhancement strategy" for the past week now. Talk about some blowhards on Adderall. Oh how I would relish the opportunity to unload a few rounds from a palm-sized crossbow into the sides of their venti quad nonfat hazelnut lattes (sugar-free, of course.) The sight of milky brown Starbucks spewing from their cups onto their painfully white $200 Hugo Boss shirts...but, again, I would definitely get fired. And it's so close to the holidays. When I have to shell out for Christmas gifts for my girlfriend and my mama and a bunch of random family members I see only once a year when they come to collect their Christmas gifts...probably not worth it.
Probably.
Ice Fire Creations hand makes the Micro BB Crossbows to order in their Oklahoma studio. Or maybe in their Oklahoma bathroom. With the Internet and an Etsy storefront, overhead is a thing of the past. In addition to BBs, the fully-functional crossbows are designed to shoot matches, small headless nails, or anything else from your junk draw you can get loaded and aimed. Length is 3.5" and width 3.9".
Muchas danke to Manny for the Dude Product Tip.
Google Hangouts picks up guest access in latest update
Google Hangouts has become a go-to option for video calls over the years, and as such, its feature list has only gotten better to match demand. Now Google is updating Hangouts with yet another feature that will make it easier than ever before to simply hop into a video call or conference.
The announcement was made via the official Google For Work blog, and states that joining up with a video call — whether it’s a one-to-one or conference session — will now be as simple as following a link and filling in a name. There won’t be any need to fill out a form, and the people joining in the call don’t even need a Google account to access it.
The process is straightforward enough: Simply invite those you want into the call via Google Calendar, which includes a link to the call within it. They’ll click that link, fill in their name, and then will be included in the call. The owner of the session will be able to accept or deny incoming participants as well.
Google making it even easier for groups or individuals to use Google Hangouts should go over well enough. How often do you use Google Hangouts’ video features?
