I remember when I got married -- the decisions I had to make on floral arrangements, chair ties, cakes. Gosh, I was overwhelmed. Although one of the few things I was keen on calling the shots was our wedding invitation design. In fact, I proudly designed my own. But if I had known about Ian Davenport's geek wedding invitation card, I would have instantly gone with it.

China's version of the NSA's Prism: Golden Shield

"China’s surveillance system is extremely wild, there are no rules governing it that are worth speaking of,” says a Beijing lawyer named Xie Yanyi, who filed a public information request with the police to reveal how China’s own surveillance operations work. The New York Times reports that "he filed the request as a private citizen, said there were three programs in particular he wanted to know more about: Golden Shield, Great Wall and Green Dam."

Millennials Are Full of Crap

Jimmy Kimmel has developed an interesting gag called “Lie Witness News.” This is a structured version of Jay Leno’s “Jay Walking” combined with various man-on-the-street attempts done by comics locally and nationally. Making fools out of the public just seems too easy. This particular episode from April appears to make the nation’s youth seem like a massive horde of bullcrappers. Apparently it is getting harder to simply say, “I don’t know.” That said we must assume and hope that most of the clips were left on the cutting room floor.
