Autoruns 12.0 bäst på att ta bort autostartande program

SysInternals, som sedan länge ingår i Microsoft, har lanserat version 12 av sitt populära gratisprogram Autoruns. Programmet är det bästa du kan använda för att hitta och ta bort autostartande program och därmed fixa problem och snabba upp datorn.
I och med version 12 har fliken WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) tillkommit. Detta sedan man märkt att en del skadlig kod lägger sig här, och då kan du ta kontrollen över vad som körs även här. Autoruns är ett måste-verktyg du behöver.
Men innan du laddar ner och kör programmet, bör jag utfärda en varning. Det här är inget för nybörjare som inte vet hur autostartande program och dylikt fungerar. Du kan alltså inte köra Autoruns och börja kryssa bort allt i hopp om en snabbare dator, för då kommer du att få stora problem…
När jag får förfrågan om att hjälpa bekanta med datorer som blivit slöa, är det första jag gör att rensa bort autostartande program. Som regel har det samlats massor av sådana i och med att många program lägger till små verktyg i bakgrunden. Dessa autostartande verktyg är sällan nödvändiga.
Apple (iTunes och QuickTime), Adobe (Reader och annat), Spotify, WinZip, Microsoft Office och ett gäng andra är duktiga på att lägga in autostartande program som bara käkar minne och processorkraft. De tillför vissa funktioner som kan göra att det går snabbare att köra respektive program samt hålla dem uppdaterade, men som regel kan du ta bort dem för kontroller görs när du väl kör själva programmet.
