Jeannette Reyes, a news anchor for Fox 5 in Washington D.C., hates scam calls just as much as anyone. So sometimes, she decides to have a little fun with the scam caller and flip the script on them

I love this ongoing photo series by photographer Lucas Zimmermann (featured previously). A set of traffic lights on a seemingly remote stretch of road, photographed on a foggy night using multiple long exposure shots.

Ememem is a French mosaic artist that has been beautifying the streets of France (and abroad) by repairing damaged sidewalks and crumbling facades with mosaic tiles. According to Colossal, Ememem’s first mosaic dates back 10 years, when he repaired a pothole in a Lyon alley.

Check out this surreal image by Alex Hyner. The image was created using twenty skies from around the world, all brought together around one special telephone pole in Los Angeles.

On reddit, Hyner adds:

“These are not taken from the same vantage point or anything. I snapped the telephone pole the other day and the idea came to me. I just dug into my hard drive for different skies. A few are from Fiji, many from California. Some I used the same sky and just changed the color to appear to be a different sky. A lot of those puffy clouds are just from the other day after some rain, and what looks like Mars is just a low setting sun I shot from my street in Los Angeles about six months ago!”

Microsoft’s Windows File Explorer has existed in the operating system since Windows 95, and it has served as a focal point for design concepts ever since. I’ve seen a variety of mockups over the years that try to redesign the File Explorer and modernize it, but Reddit user Alur2020 has really nailed what modern file management should look like in Windows 10. This is the best Windows File Explorer concept I’ve ever seen.

The concept, spotted by Neowin, is immediately striking for its sheer simplicity and usability. The default home area imagines a location where you can quickly see pinned items, drives, and recently used files. It’s a simple location to find anything important. The artist has gained a large following online for his Dali-esque portraits that reveal the surreal faces of famous artists like van Gogh and da Vinci. The artist uses a variety of mediums and techniques like painting, photography, graphics, illustration, and animation for his works.
