PLAQUEMINES PARISH -  The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced Saturday afternoon that the body of a Baton Rouge reverend who went missing this week after a boating accident has been found in the Gulf of Mexico.

Donald Tabb went missing earlier this week following a boating accident in Plaquemines Parish. The accident left another man dead and a third person injured.

Wildlife and Fisheries told WBRZ that Tabb's body was found around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday near the Southwest Pass, about ten miles from where he was reported missing.

Rev. Tabb was a founding member of Baton Rouge's Dunham School and The Chapel on Campus, a church at LSU.

The three men went overboard in the Gulf of Mexico just before 9 a.m. Wednesday. According to a report from WWL, the accident happened around South Pass near Port Eads.

One of the boaters, 86-year-old Jack Frey from Texas, drowned after the crash. A second boater, 60-year-old man Patrick Anderson, survived.

The Chapel will hold a celebration and remembrance event in honor of Tabb's life on Monday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the LSU Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC).
