WikiLeaks May Sue Conspiracy Theorist Louise Mensch

by Tyler Durden

WikiLeaks has offered to sue anti-Trump neoconservative provocateur and former conservative UK MP, Louise Mensch, after she tweeted that NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden "committed espionage of military secrets under Putin's direct orders.

The controversy began after Mensch (who has previously admitted that years of hard drugs left her with "long-term mental health" issues) fired off a response to a tweet by the ACLU on Saturday linking to an article in which the civil rights organization asked Edward Snowden about blockchain technology.

"What the hell is espionage against the United States committed on behalf of a homophobic fascist who kills journalists on his birthday? We asked @Snowden and his enabler @ACLU," mocked Mensch.

After a few Twitter followers engaged Mensch, she lashed out again - tweeting that Snowden would be executed if he stepped foot back in the United States, as he "committed espionage of military secrets under Putin's direct orders" - an assertion Mensch appears to have created out of thin air.

WikiLeaks jumped into the fray, replying to Mensch: "@snowden do you want us to sue this serial fabricator?"

To which Mensch defiantly replied: Come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough, Stinky. PS: you’re not," followed by "You would have standing to sue, though, as I will HAPPILY stipulate that you and @Snowden are essentially the same entity, twin assets of the Russian state, both traitors, both working under the direction of RIS. At least @Snowden didn’t add rape to the treason and espionage."

Mensch has made various claims over the last few years which should serve as a cautionary tale for those considering hard drugs. In April, she suggested that Russia funded the Ferguson race riots, which began the day after a black man, Michael Brown, was gunned down by white police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri.

She has accused a laundry list of people of being Russian shills, including Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and many others.

In August of 2017, Mensch and journalist Claude Taylor proffered the conspiracy theory that President Trump's defunct modeling agency was under investigation for potential sex trafficking, and that former President Bill Clinton was going to testify in the case.

The pair claimed that there was at least one sealed indictment in the case, and that President Trump is "under multiple sealed indictments" in the Mueller investigation.

The initial inkling of this outrageous story, mind you, came from one hoax of a source, who was intentionally trying to feed them the misinformation “out of frustration over the ‘dissemination of fake news.'” Taylor has since apologized for not vetting the source; Mensch has dug in her heels, saying she received the information a different source, which is funny because that would mean the exact allegation–which was made up out of thin air by an intentional hoaxer–is also being spread by someone else.

Indeed it’s a gnarly web of allegations and outright falsehoods. And, again, it’s another reason why, as I wrote last month, people like Louise Mensch should not have a Twitter checkmark, which grants users validity and adds weight to what they tweet. This is exactly how fake news starts. -FastCompany

Accused child sex traffickers arrested in Baton Rouge

by WBRZ Staff
Accused child sex traffickers arrested in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE - Investigators with Louisiana State Police's Special Victims Unit arrested two people for allegedly trafficking a juvenile for sexual purposes.

According to state police, 39-year-old Derrick Hall and 21-year-old Shaena Kelly, both of New Iberia, were arrested in Baton Rouge Friday.

Officer learned of the scheme after the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office was tipped off to the alleged scheme to traffic the young girl through Iberia and Lafayette Parishes. During the course of the investigation, it was learned the victim was transported to Texas and other places to engage in sexual activity.

Authorities identified Hall and Kelly as the ones responsible for trafficking the girl and obtained warrants for their arrests.

Both were booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail as fugitives from Iberia Parish and will be transported to Iberia Parish to be booked on the outstanding warrants.

Convicted former CATS board member appears to be at it again

by Chris Nakamoto and Erin McWilliams
Convicted former CATS board member appears to be at it again

BATON ROUGE - The convicted former Capital Area Transit System (CATS) board member who used bus system money for his personal cable bill is engaged in more questionable activities.

It appears Montrell McCaleb is now closely tied to a nonprofit that claims to help children. A former employee said multiple workers just quit due to their suspicions of the work they were doing, calling McCaleb a scam artist.

In June 2017, the WBRZ Investigative Unit revealed Montrell McCaleb was using several aliases to start nonprofits and get donations under the guise of helping kids.

"He doesn't care about the kids," Norelle Feinhour told WBRZ last year.

During that time we had an opportunity to ask McCaleb about what he was doing.

"I have no comment on the nonprofits I'm setting up," McCaleb said.

This month, McCaleb appears to be at it again. He's been seen working in a building off Sherwood Forest Boulevard with the name OYOF Ministries.

Tammy Morgan said she was hired in November and immediately realized what was going on was a scam.

"I asked for a board of directors list and major funders, and I was never given that," Morgan said. "I was never given an overview of what the program was."

Morgan said she was in charge of fundraising and trying to bring money into the program. When she began getting suspicious, she quit.

"He's telling people he fired all of his staff when we mass quit," Morgan said.

Morgan said that happened after the employees searched McCaleb's name online. They found it was the same person featured in a WBRZ report in 2017. McCaleb was also the same person who pleaded guilty to felony theft charges for stealing CATS money. When confronted about the money, he lied on camera.

"I was accused of stealing money from CATS, I didn't take any money from CATS," McCaleb said.

Monday, when McCaleb was confronted at the OYOF Ministries' office, he wouldn't talk to WBRZ Chief Investigative Reporter Chris Nakamoto.

"Really Chris," McCaleb said through a closed glass door. "No sir, I'm not going to talk to you."

Morgan said after seeing the way things are being run, she doesn't want anyone else to send donations to Montrell McCaleb. She said she's witnessed him spend the money on himself and not the children he claims to help.

"Stop. Just stop it," Morgan said. "You're lying, everyone knows you're a liar, and you need to stop with the lies."

OYOF was recognized as a nonprofit this year. Next year, the organization will be required to fill out paperwork with the IRS. The organization has not filed up-to-date paperwork with the Secretary of State. Morgan said she contacted the Attorney General's Consumer Division and filed a complaint in hopes of getting McCaleb shut down for good.

Deputy indicted following WBRZ reports on alleged misconduct turns self in

by Jeremy Krail
Deputy indicted following WBRZ reports on alleged misconduct turns self in

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH - A West Baton Rouge sheriff's deputy who was indicted after a series of reports by the Investigative Unit uncovered a number of sexual misconduct allegations has been arrested.

Jail records say former deputy Ben Arceneaux turned himself in Monday morning, days after a grand jury indicted him on malfeasance charges. Arceneaux resigned from the sheriff's office Friday, just hours after his indictment.

“He is accepting the decision of the grand jury. He is apologetic of his actions and those who had trust in him," a statement from Arceneaux's attorney read. "Ben has been cooperative and hopes to put this behind him.”

The allegations against Arceneaux first surfaced earlier this year after the WBRZ Investigative Unit spoke with several of his alleged victims. One of those women claimed Arceneaux demanded oral sex from her during a traffic stop.

Station attorneys had to get involved for the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office to release their report about the incidents. That report revealed Arceneaux was disciplined earlier this year after being moved to the jail and that he was unpaid for a period of time.

Following WBRZ's stories, Sheriff Mike Cazes placed Arceneaux on unpaid leave and called in Louisiana State Police to investigate.

A grand jury had previously met in November, but jurors sought to reconvene in December so more information on the case could be presented.

Girl's inoperable brain tumor vanishes, docs stumped

by -NO AUTHOR-

(FOX) — In what seems like a Christmas miracle, the inoperable brain tumor of an 11-year-old girl in Texas has disappeared, and doctors say they don’t know why.

Roxli Doss was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG, in June, as KVUE reported, and went through weeks of radiation.

Her parents, Gena and Scott, prayed for a miracle and they got it.

Martin Armstrong: The Use Of False Flags To Increase Power

by Tyler Durden

Authored by Martin Armstrong via ArmstrongEconomics.com,

Historically, Hitler used a very famous event that was the origin of the term “False flag” back in 1933 to reinforce his power. The German False flag used by Hitler was known as the Reichstag Fire.

Hitler had a problem. He won less than 35% of the vote.

The Reichstag Fire was an arson attack on the German parliament in Berlin on February 27th, 1933, one month after Adolf Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor of Germany. Hitler’s government claimed it was set by Communists because the 1918 German Revolution which installed the Weimar Republic and resulted in the hyperinflation was a Communist movement which even asked the Russian to take Germany.

One man was prosecuted named Marinus van der Lubbe, a Dutch council Communist, who was simply found near the building. A German court later decided that van der Lubbe had acted alone as was the case with Oswald in the Kennedy Assassination.

After the Reichstag Fire, a Decree was passed that the Nazi Party used as evidence that Communists were plotting against the German government. This event was critical in the establishment of Nazi Germany.

The very term Reichstag Fire in Germany has been ever since used to refer to False flag actions perpetrated by the government to promote their own interests to gain more power and infuriate the public for retribution that has ALWAYS resulted in the loss of civil rights necessary to catch the conspirators.

There is no doubt that this political tactic has been used countless times to gain more power.

The 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center was known to the government. The people from the previous attack drew pictures of the WTC on the cell walls in prison with airplanes crashing into them at the MCC in New York. The attack on WTC7 collapsed to hide evidence for it was never hit by any plane. Then the Pentagon was conveniently hit in the very room where all the records were that Rumsfeld swore he would investigate the missing billions in the budget.

They gained so much power from that event over taxes alone to make it all profitable.

As we look ahead, they desperately need another False flag to escape from the collapsing structure of Socialism.

A war will be very convenient to blame so expect this in the not so distant future.

This also is why they have to try to get rid of Trump – he is not one of them! They just have to always bash Trump even when the event was the funeral of George H. W. Bush as the Washington Post reported: Trump odd man out as presidents assemble for Bush funeral.

There is not an event that can take place without the media trying to tear Trump apart.

They are part of the agenda to remove any outsider to allow Washington to do what it does best – manipulate the people and False flags are very much a part of the agenda.

Twenty-One Thoughts On The Persecution Of Julian Assange

by Tyler Durden

Authored by Caitlin Johnstone,

1. I write a lot about the plight of Julian Assange for the same reason I write a lot about the Iraq invasion: his persecution, when sincerely examined, exposes undeniable proof that we are ruled by a transnational power establishment which is immoral and dishonest to its core.

2. Assange started a leak outlet on the premise that corrupt and unaccountable power is a problem in our world, and that the problem can be fought with the light of truth. Corrupt and unaccountable power has responded by detaining, silencing and smearing him. The persecution of Assange has proved his thesis about the world absolutely correct.

3. Anyone who offends the US-centralized empire will find themselves subject to a trial by media, and the media are owned by the same plutocratic class which owns the empire. To believe what mass media news outlets tell you about those who stand up to imperial power is to ignore reality.

4. Corrupt and unaccountable power uses its political and media influence to smear Assange because, as far as the interests of corrupt and unaccountable power are concerned, killing his reputation is as good as killing him. If everyone can be paced into viewing him with hatred and revulsion, they’ll be far less likely to take WikiLeaks publications seriously, and they’ll be far more likely to consent to Assange’s silencing and imprisonment. Someone can be speaking 100 percent truth to you, but if you’re suspicious of him you won’t believe anything he’s saying. If they can manufacture that suspicion with total or near-total credence, then as far as our rulers are concerned it’s as good as putting a bullet in his head.

5. The fact that the mass media can keep saying day after day “Hey, you know that bloke at the embassy who shares embarrassing truths about very powerful people? He’s a stinky Nazi rapist Russian spy who mistreats his cat” without raising suspicion shows you how propagandized the public already is. A normal worldview unmolested by corrupt narrative control would see someone who circulates inconvenient facts about the powerful being called pretty much all the worst things in the world and know immediately that that person is being lied about by those in power.

6. Relentless smear campaigns against Assange have given the unelected power establishment the ability to publicly make an example of a journalist who published uncomfortable truths without provoking the wrath of the masses. It’s a town square flogging that the crowd has been manipulated into cheering for. Narrative control has enabled them to have their cake and eat it too: they get to act like medieval lords and inflict draconian punishment against a speaker of undeniable facts and leave his head on a spike in the town square as a warning to other would-be truth tellers, and have the public believe that such a bizarre violation of modern human rights is perfectly fine and acceptable.

7. There are people who worked really hard to get journalism degrees, toiled long hours to earn the esteemed privilege of appearing on the front pages of a major publication, only to find themselves writing articles with headlines like “Julian Assange is a stinky, stinky stink man.”

8. Ordinary citizens often find themselves eager to believe the smear campaigns against Assange because it is easier than believing that their government would participate in the deliberate silencing and imprisoning of a journalist for publishing facts.

9. And yes, Julian Assange is most certainly a journalist. Publishing important information about what’s going on in the world so the public can inform themselves is precisely the thing that journalism is. There is no conventional definition of journalism which differs from this. Anyone who says Assange is not a journalist is telling a lie that they may or may not actually believe in order to justify his persecution and their support for it.

10. Another reason people can find themselves eager to believe smears about Assange is that the raw facts revealed by WikiLeaks publications punch giant holes in the stories about the kind of world, nation and society that most people have been taught to believe they live in since school age. These kinds of beliefs are interwoven with people’s entire egoic structures, with their sense of self and who they are as a person, so narratives which threaten to tear them apart can feel the same as a personal attack. This is why you’ll hear ordinary citizens talking about Assange as though he attacked them personally; all he did was publish facts about the powerful, but since those facts conflict with tightly held identity constructs, the cognitive dissonance that was caused to them can be interpreted as feeling like he’d slapped them in the face.

11. We live in a reality where unfathomably powerful world-dominating government agencies are scrutinized and criticized far, far less than a guy trapped in an embassy who published inconvenient facts about those agencies.

12. Assange disrupts establishment narratives even in his persecution. Liberal establishment loyalists in America still haven’t found a rational answer to criticisms that in supporting Assange’s criminal prosecution they are supporting a Trump administration agenda. You now have the same people who’ve been screaming that Trump is Hitler and that he’s attacking the free press cheering for the possibility of that same administration imprisoning a journalist for publishing facts.

13. The precedent that would be set by the US prosecuting a foreign journalist for merely publishing factual information would constitute a greater leap in the direction of Orwellian dystopia than the Patriot Act, for America and for the entire world.

14. The billionaire media has invalidated itself with its refusal to defend Assange. They know the precedent set by his prosecution for WikiLeaks publications would kill the ability of the press to hold power to account, but they don’t care because they know they never do that. For all their crying about Jamal Khashoggi and Jim Acosta’s hurt feelings, they do not actually care about journalism or “the free press” in any meaningful way.

15. Whenever I see a blue checkmark account on Twitter bashing Assange I mentally translate whatever they’re saying into “There is nothing I won’t do to advance my career in corporate media. If you’re in a position to promote me I will literally get down on my knees right this very second and let you do whatever you want to my body.”

16. I sometimes feel like I respect professional propagandists who smear Assange more than I respect ordinary citizens who go around smearing him for free. What do these people think they’ll get as a reward for their work as pro bono CIA propagandists? A gold star from Big Brother? They’re like slaves who beat and betray other slaves that fall out of line in order to win favor with the master, except they’re not even achieving that. The professional manipulators are at least cheering for their own class to continue to have its leadership’s interests advanced; ordinary people who do it are cheering for their own oppression.

17. Even lower in my view are the self-proclaimed leftists and anarchists who view themselves as oppositional to the establishment but still help advance this smear campaign. It is impossible to attack Assange without supporting the Orwellian empire which is persecuting him. I don’t care what mental gymnastics you’re doing to justify your pathetic cronyism; what you are doing benefits the most powerful and depraved people on this planet.

18. Anyone who participates in the ongoing smear campaign against Assange and Wikileaks is basically just saying “Extremely powerful people should be able to lie to us without any difficulty or opposition at all.”

19. Everyone should always be extremely suspicious of anyone who defends the powerful from the less powerful. It’s amazing that this isn’t more obvious to more people.

20. Contrary to the narratives promoted by establishment smear merchants, Julian Assange is not hiding from justice in the Ecuadorian embassy. He is hiding from injustice. Everyone who knows anything about the US government’s prosecution of leakers and whistleblowers knows he has no shot at a fair trial, and would face brutal mistreatment at the hands of the same regime which tortured Chelsea Manning.

21. The persecution of Assange is essentially a question that mankind is asking itself: do we want to (A) continue down the path of omnicidal, ecocidal Orwellian dystopia, or do we want to (B) pull up and away from that trajectory and shrug off the oppressive power establishment which is driving us toward either total extinction or total enslavement? So far, A is the answer we’ve been giving ourselves to that question. But, as long as we switch before it’s too late, we can always change our answer.

Pope Says Western World "Has Moral Responsibility" To Let In More Migrants

by Tyler Durden

Via VoiceofEurope.com,

“It is the “moral responsibility” of the outside world to accept even more migrants,” Pope Francis explained in a speech on Thursday.

This year it is 70 years since the globalist organisation that is the UN adopted the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”.

It was for that reason that Pope Francis urged the outside world to open its doors to even more migrants.

He referred to the declaration’s recognition that all human beings have “universal and indivisible rights”, which are the basis for “justice, freedom and peace in the world”.

According to the Pope, it is everyone’s responsibility to deal with the consequences of war, poverty, inequality and mass migration.

“No solution to the global issue of mass migration should ignore our moral responsibility for the common good, to welcome, protect, promote and integrate those who knock on our doors to find a safe future,” he continued.

At the same time, the morals among his close advisors aren’t exactly impressive. This past week, three cardinals have left the Pope’s most important advisory body, the Council of Cardinals.

Two of those have been prosecuted after disclosure of sex abuse. On Tuesday, one of them, Cardinal George Pell from Australia, was convicted of child molestation.

The number of migrants the Pope himself houses in his palace is unknown.

*  *  *

Of course, this is not thew first time The Pope has spoken out on globalist matters. As Vladimir Putin previously noted, The Pope's "secular sins" include:

  • Pope Francis is using his platform to push a dangerous far-left political ideology on vulnerable people around the world, people who trust him because of his position

  • He dreams of a world government and a global communist system of repression

  • As we have seen before in communist states, this system is not compatible with Christianity

And then there's global warming and the need for a new world order:

Pope Francis says that global warming is a fact and that a new global political authority is necessary in order to save humanity from utter disaster.  The new encyclical that was scheduled to be released on Thursday has been leaked, and it is being reported that this new global political authority that Pope Francis envisions would be in charge of “the reduction of pollution and the development of poor countries and regions”.

The funny thing is that this sounds very much in line with the new sustainable development agenda that is going to be launched at the United Nations in September
