Those adorable baby goats from Sunflower Farm are back, and this time they are incorporating leaps and bounds into their running routine. The original video, which has now been viewed over 2.5 million times, was a surprise hit for the farm’s owners who have since switched from portrait to landscape in this updated recording :)

For those curious, the goats are raised and sold to qualifying families (in pairs) as pets or dairy animals. Check out Sunflower Farm on Facebook for more.

Adam Cole is the science fanatic behind NPR’s popular science blog Skunk Bear. In a recent post, Cole wondered if he could use a technique known as Schlieren Flow Visualization to see sound.

The answer was a resounding YES! And the video below shows the fascinating results. Also included: a diagram of how Schlieren Flow Visualization works and animated gifs (from the video) that show what different sounds look like.

Spotted at Big Bend National Park in Texas, a black bear and its cub were spotted climbing the Santa Elena Canyon wall on 21 March 2014 by a pair of passing kayakers.
