The World Photography Organization just announced the shortlist for the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards. This year’s contest received more than 140,000 entries from 166 countries. The judges will announce the final winners in March and April of this year, but for now here are a selection of highlights from the shortlist courtesy the World Photography Organization. TGIF: Nunca pidas por Internet que alguien te edite una fotografía tuya

Internet está lleno de gente con malas intenciones. Malas intenciones como tomar exactamente al pie de la letra cuál es tu pedido de edición.
¡Viernes! Es el momento de olvidar que estás trabajando para relajarte un poco y disfrutar el fin de semana que se acerca. En este día tan glorioso veremos una secuencia de photoshopeos en el que el pedido del usuario fue tomado demasiado al pie de la letra.
A todos nos gustaría que nuestra foto de perfil se vea mejor, que nos agreguen algo de musculo o que parezcamos más grandes. Y esto es posible. Pero a veces las personas a las que les pedimos estas cosas no están del mejor humor —o más bien, están del mejor humor— y le buscan la quinta pata al gato al pedido.
Es el caso de que una foto de perfil de un hombre fumando con el pedido de “quiero verme más peligroso” se convierte en ese mismo hombre fumando un petardo. De este tenor son los arreglos, que seguramente te arrancaran una sonrisa:
