** not bookable ** Toronto to Vienna, Austria - $460 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Alitalia is showing one unusually cheap flight from Toronto to Vienna, Austria in April 2018 for $460 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flight has a long layover in Rome each way (7-9 hours).
Just kind of a weird one, at roughly half the price of the typical cheapest flights. I've only seen one set of dates that works. Could be a mistake.
Update: One person that tried to book these has said that FlightHub could not book this fare.

Giant Chocolate-Covered Rock Candy Geodes Months in the Making
Six months in the making, these enormous chocolate-covered rock candy geodes are the creation of culinary students Alex Yeatts and Abby Lee Wilcox, the results of a final project for the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Details are scarce on how the duo went about creating the giant sugar rocks, some of which have the distinct hue of purple amethyst. The calorie count is also elusive, but we can only imagine it equates to the years these things take to form in real life. (via Sploid)
Places You Can Live for Under $1000 a Month
You probably know that the cost of living can vary from country to country and while income often goes down as the cost of living goes down, some people can earn the same income no matter where they live. If you are lucky enough to be in that second category, you might find your money will stretch a lot further in the countries featured in Travel and Leisure's list of countries you can live comfortably in for under $1000 a month.
How To Live On A Boat Without Leaving The City
Living on a boat is a dream shared by very few people, since the accomodations are tight, the amenities are few and the comforts of home are lacking, but it does beat sleeping on the streets.
However, if you've always dreamed of living that boat life then it may surprise you to hear that you can actually live on a boat without leaving the city- and it may be cheaper than renting.
But before you stop homing or apartmenting and start boating you need to find out a few things, firstly whether you have access to slips or moorings or both, and whether it's legal to liveaboard in your city.
Docks are expensive but they often have electricity and water hookups, and access to bathrooms and showers and such, while moorings are cheap but leave you far from shore.
Once you figure out the legality and location of your boat life adventure you have to decide one more thing- whether to rent or buy a boat.
There are many boat owners out there who are willing to rent out their docked boats to tenants, but your new boatlord may cut your life at sea short if they choose to evict. On the other hand buying a new floating home can cost you some serious coin...

Where to stay on St. Lucia?
The map below will show you some great deals on accommodations in St. Lucia for under $99 CAD/night for 2 people.
I've found that Saint Lucia is one of the few Caribbean islands with a high number of reasonably priced Airbnb accommodations.
The average price per night is still quite high ($275 CAD), but there are so many Airbnb rentals, that it's pretty easy to find well-reviewed places being offered for $50 to $85 CAD per night for 2 people.

Architect Ricardo Bofill’s Abandoned Cement Factory Residence and Studio
In 1973 Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill stumbled upon a cement factory in Catalonia, Spain, an enormous compound of silos and buildings that covered nearly two and a half miles of underground tunnels. Bofill decided to buy The World War I era structure and its grounds, making modifications to the original structure in order to create an all-inclusive live/work space that would unite the Surrealist, Abstract, and Brutalist elements found in its industrial form.
Original construction to transform the sprawling series of buildings took a little over a year and a half. After the dust cleared from the jack hammers and dynamite, Catalan craftsmen worked to add gardens and purpose back into the abandoned compound. Today the factory holds a cathedral, model workshop, archive rooms, residence, and studio, a workspace for Bofill’s firm spread over four floors in the factory’s silos and connected by a spiral staircase.
Despite over forty years in the making, the entire project is constantly evolving and is one that Bofill never sees as being fully completed. With continuous tweaks, Bofill has created a perfectly programmed existence, a ritualized lifestyle that goes against his previously nomadic early life.
“I have the impression of living in a precinct, in a closed universe which protects me from the outside and everyday life,” said Bofill on his website. “The Cement Factory is a place of work par excellence. Life goes on here in a continuous sequence, with very little difference between work and leisure.”
You can see more images of the garden-covered structures on Bofill’s website, and see a short Nowness documentary on his studio and residence below. (via Designboom)
