DsiderSWEET JESUS

The comparison with the official 2014 Star Destroyer in the foreground shows how awesome and big this custom ship really is. Doomhandle’s ISD Tyrant is so massive, he was able to fit a hangar bay, multiple ships, and three levels of various rooms inside.
DsiderI think an alternative to the original retirement plans of playing my steam library could be going through all these games and dressing up all my characters in my ideal costumes. I think it'd take about the same amount of time.

Diablo III’s patch 2.4.1 is now live, with Season 6 starting on Friday, and that means a lot of new items to loot! This time it’s all about cosmetic wings, pets and various transmog items.
DsiderIt's gonna be a weird E3 this year

Nintendo’s next console won’t be at E3, nor will most of their games. The company announced today that the upcoming Zelda will be “the focus of Nintendo’s presence at E3" and that nothing else will be playable on the show floor.
DsiderOh no, I'm only going to have 83521 games to play as opposed to 83525

Longtime Nintendo fans may remember the brutal last years of Wii, in 2010 and 2011, when third-party support had dried up and just about all Nintendo put out was Skyward Sword and Fortune Street. After today’s news, it seems like 2016 might be even worse.

In 1992, Nintendo’s then-president Hiroshi Yamauchi went out and bought a majority stake in the Seattle Mariners baseball team. It was one of the most 90s things Nintendo ever did, but today, that era comes to an end.

Here’s Caleb, doing a stunning drum performance. And it’s not just random drumming. All the different hits are in sync with all the Smash Bros. moves. You can hear light cymbal hits for Fox’s short hop lasers, for example.
DsiderThe bit about Kaiba in here just reminds me how amusing he is to watch. I should see if the abridged series ever followed through.

Yugi and his friends’ story may have ended a decade ago, but there is still one last chapter to be told in the new animated film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.
DsiderBlah blah legalese horseshit. Also that idea of a "pristine" server is terrible, because it's still the current iteration of the game, which those people DON'T WANT TO PLAY.

This morning, Blizzard’s executives finally spoke out about their decision to shut down the World of Warcraft fan server Nostalrius, writing that there was “no clear legal path” to both protect their intellectual property and allow an unofficial server to keep running.

Sure, it’s satisfying to beat a tough Dark Souls boss. It’s just as satisfying to roll through a bunch of stuff.
Dsiderwhat

Nexon is making a mobile version of Final Fantasy XI with Square Enix. Today, we get our first peek at the title.

After being delayed from its original 2015 release date, the new upcoming Zelda game won’t make this year, either. Nintendo announced today that the game is now scheduled for 2017.

Nintendo just announced that the Nintendo NX will be out in March 2017. That release window is global.
DsiderLooks legit. Fun fact: All of the email that we get from the helpdesk pertaining to new work orders end with "please advise"

Over the weekend, Persona fans got some tremendous news: the next game in Atlus’s quirky series would be out in July, not just for PS4 but for PC as well. Then they found out it was all a big lie.
Assassin’s Creed designer Patrice Desilets has settled his legal dispute with Ubisoft, he announced today. Ubisoft has given Desilets back the rights to the game that they cancelled, Project 1666. Full statement in the comments.
Dsiderdafuq

There have been some weird controllers made for video games over the years. Namco’s NeGcon was one of the strangest, but it was awesome.

A modder added The Predator to XCOM 2. That’s right: the game is now Aliens vs Predator. Or Aliens vs A Whole, Whole Lot of Predators. Or Aliens vs One Last Predator Who’s Panicked And Mourning His Predator Pals While Getting Strangled To Death By A Snake Monster.
DsiderPerhaps the only more egregious feature of it is the extra-pink color

Apple’s Macbooks are known to be difficult (if not impossible) to repair, but there’s always been the option if you’re stubborn enough. But in a teardown of the latest extra-pink Macbook, iFixit discovered something more worrying: screws that change if you tamper with them.
DsiderCruel and unusual, the way I like it

A professor in China apparently made his late students write out 1,000 emoticons by hand after being late to class. ┐(‘~`;)┌
Dsider/facepalm
DsiderThe more you know

Rachel Moore (aka Ran Mouri) is one of the main characters in the hugely popular Case Closed (aka Detective Conan). Her hair is bizarre.
DsiderI remember the second video going way overboard at the end, but the first one's still cool.

On April 20, 2006, artist Paul Robertson released a video. It was like nothing any of us had ever seen before.

It’s short, coming in at around 13 minutes, but remember: this is a team effort between Production I.G. (Ghost in the Shell), WIT Studios (Attack on Titan) and Shigeru Miyamoto. And it’s pretty damn cool.
DsiderThere would be some very audible screaming if I played this, between the unsettling noises heard while tunneling beneath the earth, and direct encounters with anything down there

Like chocolate and peanut butter, Minecraft and virtual reality go together about as well as two things can. This is easily one of the best things I’ve done in VR.
DsiderWell, it doesn't sound as messed up as the second season, and if it's definitely from Urobuchi then I'll probably enjoy it. I've got it preordered so unless I hear some really disconcerting reviews of it I'll be picking it up

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is set somewhere within the first eight episodes of the first season of cyberpunk dystopian anime Psycho-Pass . And it’s made me do things so messed up that it’s hard to keep playing.
Dsider:[

Today, on April 20, 2006, Mother 3 was released on the Game Boy Advance in Japan. Ten years! Can you believe it? That’s good reason to celebrate.
DsiderWell, they're most certainly better thought out than the avalanche of paintings with tardises lazily thrown in

John Ramirez loves Japan. He’s also a Disney storyboard artist. This is where things get interesting.

The next creation from the makers of Bastion and Transistor is Pyre, a party-based role-playing game where roving bands of exiles battle each other. It’s due out in 2017 but Supergiant’s bringing it to PAX East so attendees can play this weekend. You can find out more at their website.
