Diablo III's New Patch Is All About Cosmetics

by Gergo Vas
Dsider

I think an alternative to the original retirement plans of playing my steam library could be going through all these games and dressing up all my characters in my ideal costumes. I think it'd take about the same amount of time.

Diablo III’s patch 2.4.1 is now live, with Season 6 starting on Friday, and that means a lot of new items to loot! This time it’s all about cosmetic wings, pets and various transmog items.

Zelda Delay Signals Another Slow Year For Nintendo Fans

by Jason Schreier
Dsider

Oh no, I'm only going to have 83521 games to play as opposed to 83525

Longtime Nintendo fans may remember the brutal last years of Wii, in 2010 and 2011, when third-party support had dried up and just about all Nintendo put out was Skyward Sword and Fortune Street. After today’s news, it seems like 2016 might be even worse.

The Original Yu-Gi-Oh! Crew Returns for One Last Ride

by Richard Eisenbeis
Dsider

The bit about Kaiba in here just reminds me how amusing he is to watch. I should see if the abridged series ever followed through.

Yugi and his friends’ story may have ended a decade ago, but there is still one last chapter to be told in the new animated film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.

Blizzard Says They Had To Shut Down World of Warcraft Fan Server Nostalrius

by Jason Schreier
Dsider

Blah blah legalese horseshit. Also that idea of a "pristine" server is terrible, because it's still the current iteration of the game, which those people DON'T WANT TO PLAY.

This morning, Blizzard’s executives finally spoke out about their decision to shut down the World of Warcraft fan server Nostalrius, writing that there was “no clear legal path” to both protect their intellectual property and allow an unofficial server to keep running.

Perhaps the only more egregious feature of it is the extra-pink color

Apple’s Macbooks are known to be difficult (if not impossible) to repair, but there’s always been the option if you’re stubborn enough. But in a teardown of the latest extra-pink Macbook, iFixit discovered something more worrying: screws that change if you tamper with them.

The Psycho-Pass Visual Novel is Messed Up

by Richard Eisenbeis

Well, it doesn't sound as messed up as the second season, and if it's definitely from Urobuchi then I'll probably enjoy it. I've got it preordered so unless I hear some really disconcerting reviews of it I'll be picking it up

Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is set somewhere within the first eight episodes of the first season of cyberpunk dystopian anime Psycho-Pass . And it’s made me do things so messed up that it’s hard to keep playing.
