Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a beautiful game on its own. Add an extensive Photo Mode and a creative player base and it becomes an art engine, generating an endless array of eye candy. Here are some of our favorites.
DsiderOkay, I have to give them props for those clever progression methods. I guess PopCap's still got some life left in it after all.

The official description for Bejeweled Stars does not read “You like Candy Crush Saga? Fine. Here’s your damn Candy Crush Saga,” but it really should.
DsiderBabymetal doesn't really work for me, but I just love that all these butthurt guys are getting put in their place
DsiderI'm just imagining the goofy running legs from that Tuxedo Mask 'shop underneath it

You’ve seen this, no? It’s the new Kojima Productions logo (above), which was first shown last
December and which shows a skull and some sort of helmet. But that’s not all, according to Hideo Kojima.
DsiderGood lord this looks like hot garbage. And bravo, you decide to turn it into a typical MMO light novel, good job.

Not to be confused with the Hollywood Warcraft
film, this is My WoW. As website The Nanfang points out, its Chinese title is 我的魔兽世界, which literally means “My World of Warcraft.” Oh. Okay.

LEGO Library of the Undead. Awesome dungeon-style build by Deus Otlosus, that looks like an intense encounter straight from a classic RPG.

This morning the Russian embassy in the UK tweeted an image with the message, “Extremists near Aleppo received several truckloads of chemical ammo.” The only problem with the tweet? The image they used is from the video game Command & Conquer.

Whoa. This aerial view, courtesy of a drone, captures something not often seen: a pod of false killer whales (which are a species of dolphins, of course) chasing and hunting down a shark in the waters near Sydney, Australia. You can see the gang of false killer whales basically acting like a pack of wolves on a hunt, only they’re not hunting down any old prey, they’re going after a freaking shark.
DsiderOkay, so I'm never ever getting an Echo then.

Back in March, I filed a Freedom of Information request with the FBI asking if the agency had ever wiretapped an Amazon Echo. This week I got a response: “We can neither confirm nor deny...”

One tiny change in Fallout 4's Automatron DLC and its robot building process can make a lot of difference.

Poise, which allows players to take hits without staggering, has been one of the more important stats in the previous Dark Souls games. In the weeks after Dark Souls 3's release, players discovered the poise stat doesn’t seem to impact anything
. Was it glitched? From Software has an answer: no.
DsiderObviously linking for the top picture

Mark Van Haitsma is a veteran concept artist who has worked on games like Mass Effect 2 and Doom 4. He is currently at Bungie, where he’s worked on Destiny.
DsiderYeah sure, the defense is that their final evolutions will all look good, but first impressions mean a lot in this game. I don't care about Greninja, his earlier forms look like a doofy frog covered in cotton balls. And I LIKE frogs.

Shortly after the starters for Pokémon Sun and Moon were revealed yesterday, the internet exploded with love for the new monsters. Well, mostly.
DsiderAt least the internet is in agreement that using a Kanye song for the trailer was a fucking stupid idea.

Oh hey, Hollywood is making a big time Assassin’s Creed motion picture. Last night, the film’s trailer debuted, and the internet has opinions about it. The internet always has opinions. Always.
Dsiderholy hell
In Japan, over a million copies of Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition have been sold, making it the package version the biggest selling PS Vita title in the country.
DsiderFUCKING CRACKLE, you went from a harmless joke to a cancer
On May 15th, Sony's streaming service Crackle is set to introduce Robotech to their library of anime. This includes Harmony Gold's localization of Tatsunoko-produced mecha anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA as well as the original Shadow Chronicles.
As announced last June, Sony is developing a live-action movie with James Wan (The Saw and Furious 7 ) set to direct, Gianni Nunnari and 300's Mark Canton producing and Michael Gordon (300, GI Joe) writing the script. Frank Agrama of Harmony Gold, which is the original intellectual property rights holder, will executive produce.

DsiderAre they seriously skipping The Great Ace Attorney here? I was the most interested in that one. Fucking Capcom.

Clearly unafraid of Final Fantasy XV, and stealing all of my free time, Capcom is releasing the next Phoenix Wright in the United States this September. New trailer above.

One scene on last night’s episode of Game of Thrones might require some explanation for people who haven’t read the books. Let’s talk it through.
DsiderI don't really believe that "pure-game app" shit, but I do believe this comment below the article:
"I imagine microtransactions will slip in as subtly as a runaway train crashing inside a horse's ass."
Nintendo announced that more smartphone apps are on the way, with Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing apps releasing this fall. According to Nintendo's mobile partner DeNA, they will be free-to-start.

Japan is getting Lime and Black as well as Pink and White. Both combos look very, very good, especially if you like Splatoon.

It’s May, which means it’s time for the annual Famicase exhibition, a showcase put on by Japanese game store Meteor that asks artists from around the world to design beautiful cartridges for fake video games. Which end up looking good enough for us to want them to be real video games.
DsiderMy god I love Naughty Dog's sense of humor. Well, modern Naughty Dog, not Crash Bandicoot-era.
#neverforget #neverforgive

Last year during E3, hundreds of thousands watched as Nathan Drake walked into a Madagascar market and then... froze in place thanks to a controller error. Now, you can do it yourself.

These days, people think of Naughty Dog as the company behind the Uncharted series, but it didn’t start that way. The company’s first game was a swords ‘n sorcery RPG called Keef The Thief, published by Electronic Arts.
DsiderThat's about as hardcore as it gets. The Horde can still make me proud after all.

Here’s a World of Warcraft Horde wedding ceremony, in the heart of the enemy faction’s capital city, in Stormwind Cathedral.
DsiderWell I can understand the clamor over the owl and cat. That seal looks derpy as hell though, like many of the recent water starters.

The Pokémon hype train has officially left the station, and the passengers are definitely freaking out in excitement right now.
Dsiderwhat

A couple in Tunisia, who currently hold the highest score in a mobile game about cows, were sent a real cow as a prize last week. The cow’s name is Pamela.
Dsideranswered its own question OH SNAP

Spotted by Twitter user Tetsunuma at Tokyo’s Akihabara Station, the text asks, “Frankly speaking, what would you call a crappy game?” Oh.
