Reaper’s tryhard edgelording is partially on Blizzard, which has given the character sharp lines such as “DIE, DIE, DIE.” But players who play Reaper also make him seem like a ridiculous character, too.

Japanese game magazine Famitsu is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the publication polled readers, asking them which games were most memorable on consoles ranging from the Famicom to the PS4.
DsiderNintendo 2016: We make games or something, probably

Today Nintendo announced that they plan to talk about more than just the new Zelda at E3 later this month. Don’t get your hopes up: there’s still no press conference or Nintendo Direct planned. But at least they’ll show off some other games.

Last month, Blizzard promised to ban anybody who cheats in Overwatch
, no second chances. It looks like they’re following through.

In team-based games like League of Legends and Team Fortress 2, and MMOs like World of Warcraft, support classes—medics, buffers, debuffers, etc—are a necessary element of victory. However, they’re under-appreciated and sometimes under-played. Overwatch addresses that problem in some smart ways, but it doesn’t completely solve the problem.

Odin Sphere for the PlayStation 2 is a gorgeous 2D masterpiece
of an action role-playing game with a big slowdown problem. The high-definition remake, out today for the PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita, does away with the game’s one glaring flaw.
DsiderAs one of the comments points out, it's a lot like that Seinfeld scene where George's fiance walks in on him pretending he's making out with Marisa Tomei

Remember that invisible lemur bug in Uncharted 4? Turns out it can also affect Drake himself, making one of the game’s key early scenes play out a little...differently.

The Geforce GTX 1080 tops the performance of the $1,000 Titan X card for $700. The Geforce GTX 1070 basically matches it for under $400. That’s just nuts.

There’s a village, The Aerie, which your character visits at the beginning of Nier. Its cacophonous theme is....surprising.
DsiderI'm gonna stir the pot again by saying that I think Birth of a God is a better Sephiroth track than One Winged Angel

Final Fantasy VII is as memorable as it is largely thanks to its multifaceted soundtrack.

Last week, we looked at some of the best Overwatch cosplay going around. Now, only a few days later, it’s already time to make an addition to the ranks.

The Eastern Canadian Karting Championship is, if I’m not mistaken going by this video, secretly a Mario Kart recreation society.
DsiderI want to stress again how much I hate humans

Last Wednesday, I reported that No Man’s Sky had been delayed. For two days, up until the game’s developers confirmed the news, I received a stream of nasty messages, angry tweets, and, as has become a standard part of gaming culture, threats against me and my family.

In the English-speaking world, Pikachu is “Pikachu.” In Hong Kong, things are more complex, especially after Nintendo renamed the franchise’s most famous Pocket Monster.

Overwatch isn’t only capturing people’s imagination in the West. The game is also gaining a following in Japan and has the fan art to prove it.

Tony Temple has written one hell of a story about a “raid” on the The Duke of Lancaster, a beached and rotting former luxury liner in Wales that for over 30 years had hidden a treasure trove of classic arcade games inside its hold.
DsiderI might have to pick up the trade of this. Sounds like there's still strength in superhero one-offs, since they don't get the opportunity to lose their shit on the lore and do all kinds of ridiculous things to break it.

Death has symbolism. Sometimes how you die can be just as important, if not moreso, than how you live. The last issue of The Omega Men cements the DC Comics series as one of the best superhero books ever, with a finale that has me wondering if it was meant to be an improvised explosive device all along.
