Famed Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli (Totoro, Spirited Away) has signed a deal with Amazon to stream its kid’s TV series, Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, online in the West (or at least places that can get Amazon Prime).

The Pokémon Anime Character Fans Want To Return

DsiderSome people sure have a lot of time on their hands. I do think her character is really cool from what I've seen of her in clips, but I don't know why people think this is a thing the anime would ever pursue, especially now that they've gone the complete goof-a-doof route. At this point I'd rather just have a series about her, or really any character who's not Ash. I want to see other characters' experience in the world of Pokemon, characters who aren't such colossal fuckups.
Next month, a new Pokémon anime series starts. It will have brand new friends as well as longtime ones like Pikachu and Ash. There is one character, though, fans really hope will come to Alola. And that character is Serena.

"Tiger Mask W" Roars Into Real Life at "King of Pro Wrestling" Event

Both pro-wrestling and anime are real, so it's really no surprise that the hero of Tiger Mask W, Toei's currently airing TV anime about a masked wrestler, appeared at New Japan Pro Wrestling's "King of Pro Wrestling" event which took place earlier today at the Ryougoku Sumo Hall in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, Japan.
Tiger Mask W opened the card in a dark match against the villainous Red Death Mask. In a little under 8 minutes, Tiger Mask W defeated his foe and claimed the victory via pinfall after landing a delayed tiger driver.

Although the identity of the wrestler who has adopted the in-ring persona of this most recent iteration of the Tiger Mask character is not officially known, fans speculate that the masked hero is probably being portrayed by Kota Ibushi.
