Nicki Minaj Has A New Game Where People Actually Rap For Her

by Gita Jackson
Dsider

Okay this is kinda hilarious

While anything with Nicki Minaj in it oozes personality, her app, Nicki Minaj: The Empire, really doesn’t differ too much from Glu’s other games, except in one major way. This one allows you to write lyrics, share them, and also record your own raps. The result is just as fun as it sounds.

Pokémon Go Makes Sending Monsters To The Meat Grinder Easier

by Cecilia D'Anastasio
Dsider

I still can't get back into this game until it's properly optimized. Even on this new phone it burns through the battery HARD.

Pokémon Go’s much-requested “mass transfer” feature is dropping shortly. Players can now “transfer” Pokémon to Professor Willow in batches. So you won’t be sending your little pocket monsters to the meat grinder one by one anymore.

Eat This Ramen In Less Than 20 Minutes, Earn $438!

by Brian Ashcraft

Too much fluff there with the bean sprouts and chili powder. I'd like some, but not even close to that much. Plus, I bet that meat there's pork, so I'm just right out.

Not bad for only twenty minutes of work. Yes, eating this would be work.

Nintendo's Luigi Miiverse Keeps Getting Hacked In Funny Ways

Nintendo Offers Cash Bounties To People Who Find 3DS Exploits

by Jason Schreier

If they don't give you a complimentary white Mario hat like the one he wears when he has fire power, then I really don't see the point.

You know all those stories about people who hack into tech companies in such impressive fashion that those companies immediately offer them jobs? Nintendo won’t do that. But they will offer you cash.

Anime's Fan Service Can Be A Minefield

by Cecilia D'Anastasio
Dsider

Occasionally this anime lady will actually produce useful articles like this one. I like this quote that she used from one of the commenters:

“You can enjoy something and simultaneously understand and agree why it’s a problem.”

It's a point that I feel a great deal of anime fans fail to grasp and instead become irrationally defensive about.

Today, how you feel about panty shots can determine how you feel about anime as a whole. And it’s not just panty shots. In the blockbuster anime Food Wars, women’s clothes burst off their bodies when they taste an exquisite bite of steak. Skirts often don’t cover the bottom halves of women’s butts in Prison School.…

Poll: Ten Anime And Manga With The Most Unhappy Endings Ever

by Brian Ashcraft
Dsider

Going off what I've heard from others about most of the series on this list, I'm not surprised. I haven't actually seen the endings of any of these myself though, and there are 2-3 I know absolutely nothing about in the first place. I didn't know there was a definite ending to Yamato back then, but if Analyzer died I don't think it could have been that sad. So he probably didn't die. :|

Not everything turns out like you hope it does. Not life, not manga, and certainly not anime.
