We've long marvelled at the magical properties of 3D printers, but I don't think I've ever seen a more magical application for them than this recreation of Sad Keanu.

Six Real Life Lessons I Learned from World of Warcraft
Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs, mercifully) get a bad rap for being life-sucking parallel universes. However, games like World of Warcraft are a microcosm of many real-life experiences. No, really.

How You Know You're Old: Super Smash Bros. Is 15 Today
Dsiderfeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels
There are, probably, very few people who have a living memory of Mario kneecapping Yoshi in this advertisement and who are not old enough to vote. It's the famous spot for Super Smash Bros., which 15 years ago today released as a Japan-only novelty and exploded into one of Nintendo's best-loved series.
Candy Crush Wants To Own The Word "Candy"
DsiderGo fuck yourselves.
The people who made Candy Crush think they now own the word Candy, at least when it comes to games and a bunch of merchandise. How adorable.
French Fries with Chocolate: Disgusting or Delicious?
DsiderNope. I'm interested in that thing that looks like a green tea latte or something though. And of course that ramen burger.
The idea sounds icky: Dipping french fries in chocolate sauce. But wait a minute! Sweet and salty? Hey, this might work. Or... maybe not.
Chocolate Sauce Creates Incredible Video Game and Anime Art
You think drawing your favorite with paper and pencil is difficult? Trying drawing them with chocolate sauce on plates.
If You Use Any Of These Passwords, You Should Change It Right Now
Passwords are a fact of life and we've all had some bad ones, but if you use one of the following 25 password you might want to rethink your strategy! These are the 25 most common passwords according to SplashData, and there are some humdingers in there!
Remember The Dead With These Video Game Tombstones
DsiderI already know that I'm using an epitaph from the first Suikoden on my grave. That is, if I don't end up going the route of that thing where you basically get your remains turned into soil for a tree to plant.
I suppose in the end it's all up to whoever finds my body first.
Squish. Squish. Squish. To you, they're nothing but obstacles, but each one of those Goombas you crushed had a life. Loves. Someone to remember them by. Someone to bury them, pay for a tombstone and mourn for them.
We Should Build Arcades On The Street
Kris Temmerman lives in a combined shopfront/apartment in Antwerp. Last November, with the shopfront empty, he decided to put it to good use, installing a custom arcade rig and coding a simple video game for people to stop and play.
Modder Makes Minecraft Level, Puts it in Super Mario 64 DS
There's not much to do inside the level, mind you, but it's an interesting proof of concept for sure.
Perhaps the Most Outrageous Celebrity on Japanese Television
DsiderMan, I am so out of 'wat's for this article.
This is Natsuki Okamoto. For years, she was a pin-up model. Now, she's a commentator on a news program. You know, a talking head. And on the program, she wears outfits like this. I'm not kidding.
Nintendo 3DS Was Top-Selling System Of 2013, Because It Is Awesome
With 11.5 million units sold, the Nintendo 3DS came in as top-selling video game system of 2013 in the United States, which is awesome, because it is awesome.
D-Arts Omnimon's / Omegamon's photo gallery pierces evil
Bandai's D-Arts Omegamon (or Omnimon, as he's known in the English adaptation) has returned thanks to valiant efforts of Bluefin Tamashii Nations. The company has not only decided to give the figure its first ever Western release, but now has also provided a preview gallery.
D-Arts Omegamon was first released in 2011 (and reviewed at the time by Tomopop community member Orannis) and, around that same time, we also caught our first glimpse of the elusive D-Arts Diaboromon/Diablomon (may he someday see release). There was a good amount of excitement for Omegamon, more-so than a few of the previous D-Arts Digimon figures, but the D-Arts Digimon line sorta packed up for good not that long after. The Western release of Omegamon is a positive sign for both Digimon (as it may breathe new life into the offerings) as well as older D-Arts releases in general. Bluefin Tamashii Nations has been doing a fantastic job localizing these collectibles and there seems to always be more items on the horizon.
Fans will, of course, remember Omnimon/Omegamon from Digimon: The First Movie which badly dubbed localized three Digimon films including Our War Game where WarGraymon fused with MetalGarurumon into Omnimon/Omegamon to battle Diaboromon/Diablomon. Omnimon/Omegamon would later re-appear in Digimon: Data Squad (a.k.a. Digimon Savers).
Bandai's D-Arts Omegamon can currently be pre-ordered for US$53 and is slated for a May release. If you missed Omegamon the first time around, this might be a good opportunity to pick him up.

Nintendo's Toughest Year Ever Starts Pretty Much Now
DsiderAnything but smartphones. PLEASE. ANYTHING BUT SMARTPHONES IN THEIR FUTURE. But I know they're not that stupid. Worst case, their handheld division will never die.
Nintendo thought they were going to sell nine million Wii Us this past year. Last night, they acknowledged that they'll probably sell fewer than three million. Is it time for someone to panic?
The PS3 Is Finally Getting HBO GO
DsiderWHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sony just announced that HBO's GO app - which gives people on-demand access to HBO shows like Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire - is coming to PlayStation consoles.
Not Everyone Thinks Steam Sales Are A Good Idea
DsiderWell hey, if developers want to put out a game with non-locked features, no over-reliance on multiplayer/cheevos to get the definitive experience, without any glaring bugs or chance of early buyers getting fucked in the ass over the long-term, maybe I'll be more interested in buying (and maybe even playing!) games at the same time they come out. The reason why I do still buy some games at launch is because their pedigree is one that has proven itself. The rate of under-delivering on game promises is staggeringly high these days, and most people can't afford to be burned on such a regular basis.
It's developers/publishers that need to rethink their models in this case, not the middleman who is making the medium more accessible to everyone.
Steam sales are universally awesome, right? Everyone gets cheap games, developers sell a ton of games, we're all happy. Right? Well, no.
Inside the World's First Kit Kat Specialty Shop
Earlier today, the world's first Kit Kat "specialty shop" opened in Tokyo. It's called the Kit Kat Chocolatory, and you can see a photo of it right up there.
Korea's Teddy Bear Museum Makes the World a Cuter Place
DsiderUh
Sometimes the world isn't very adorable. If only it looked a bit more like this! You know, like it were filled with teddy bears.

His imitation of the "spoilerphobe" is probably the best part of this video.
Gabe Newell Posts On Reddit and Here's Proof
DsiderAnd seriously, what kind of subreddits are these fuckers visiting in the comments that gives them the impression that reddit is worse than 4chan?
A guy posts on Reddit with the username GabeNewellBellevue. People ask him to prove it's the man who runs one of gaming's biggest companies. The result: the picture you see above you.
Cat Has Developed The Perfect Chess Game
DsiderAnd he's probably better at it than I am.
Watching a true chess Grandmaster at work is a thing of beauty — masters like Bobby Fisher, Garry Kasparov, Deep Blue. And now, Simba the Cat enters their hallowed ranks.
Steam Controller Ditches Touchscreen For Real Buttons
DsiderUh... not that much better imo
The strange-looking Stream Controller Valve introduced to us in September was innovative, ambitious, and unworkable from a backwards compatibility standpoint. Today Valve announced the release version of the controller will drop the screen in favor of a d-pad and standard controller buttons.
Rockstar Says They're Going to Shut Down GTA Online Cheaters
DsiderI feel like this goes against the nature of the game. I just assumed the point is to be fucking waste of a human being like in DayZ and Rust.
Some of the folks who've been playing Grand Theft Auto Online have been using an exploit to generate ridiculous sums of cash from in-game missions. Many say that it's ruined the multiplayer portion of the best-selling title. Now, Rockstar says that, as part of the maintenance period announced yesterday, they'll be sucking that ill-gotten money out of the GTA Online economy and punishing players guilty of breaking the rules.
Oh No, Square Enix, What Have You Done To Final Fantasy VI?
DsiderWelp
When we first saw screens of Final Fantasy VI on mobile, I was a little worried. The sprites looked faded, as if they'd been accidentally thrown in a washing machine, and like the FFV port before it, the game had an amateur, RPG Makerish feel.
If Enemies From Zelda Were Real
DsiderThe others don't look as cool as that skulltulla, but still good.
When it comes to horror games, The Legend of Zelda is not necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. Concept artist Nate Hallinan's creations are definitely going to change that. Above is his version of the Skulltula—there's nothing to be afraid of! Nothing at all!
Gabe Newell Says He'll Do A Reddit AMA If Charity Reaches $500k
DsiderOh poor Gaben, you know not what you do.
When Valve head honcho Gabe Newell posted on Reddit yesterday, the community freaked out. And although some people were interested in the racing link Newell submitted, most Redditors want to ask questions about Valve that have been on their mind for years, like "Where's Left 4 Dead 3?" and "How long did it take you to grow that beard?"
Think Of The Most Horrible Chip Flavors Imaginable
DsiderREVENGE FOR CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!
Last year Lay's "Do Us A Flavor" contest awarded the wrong person a million dollars for suggesting potato chips that tasted vaguely like garlic bread. Now the contest returns, and we have a chance for redemption.
Designing A Brand New Game Boy

Reader Justin wants to bring the Game Boy back. So he's designed a brand new one. It's not as rugged as its predecessors, but it sure is glassy.
