Supervillain teams are destined to fail, whether it's Carnage and his team of villains, Doctor Doom and whoever he was able to force to join, or—in this case—the Sinister Six. With their ego, it just cannot work. Here's Dorkly's piece about the mathematical law of Superhero film villains.

EVE Monument Vandals Get Punished With A Lifetime Ban
DsiderNeed to celebrate online justice the few times it ever occurs.
EVE Online is at least in part a game about space pirates. But it's also a massive, teeming online ecosystem that often blurs the line between virtual and real-life experiences. So when you mess with EVE, it's fair to say that you can expect to be met with swift and brutal justice both online and off.
Fancy Japanese Bananas Have Serial Numbers
Earlier today in Tokyo, limited edition bananas went on sale. They even had serial numbers. Yes, serial numbers. On bananas.
Final Fantasy III Is Coming To PC
DsiderWhoa cool, I have a standing order to support PSP-to-PC conversions. And I'm glad that Squenix is the latest company to embrace the practice. I hope this means Crisis Core and Valkyrie Profile Lenneth would also be possibilities.
Over the past couple years, Square Enix has brought Final Fantasy VII and then Final Fantasy VIII to personal computers via Steam. Naturally, their next step is Final Fantasy III.

Mother's Day Must Be Really Tough For A Cubone
DsiderYeah those entries are 100% true. Pokemon is serious business yo.
Ever since the release of Pokémon Yellow in the States, Mother’s Day always reminds me of the poor, unfortunate Cubone, who wears the skull of its deceased mother on its head and cries at the moon.
We're About To Lose Support For Some Of The Best PC Games Ever Made
DsiderThank god I don't play or care about any of these... except Neverwinter Nights. I got it through GOG but still have to try it out. Seems like single-player stuff will be okay at least.
As of June 30, a number of games - some of them among the best of all time - will have their online components cease to be supported.
Russia's Government Wants To Hide The Kids From Gay Sims
DsiderSpeaking of boring games catering to more varied sexual preferences...
The Sims series is general fare in most places, as popular with teenagers as it is with older folks. Oh, except in Russia, where fear of the gays and their gay propoganda has the game restricted.
Chill Out with Japanese Snow Cone Art
The temperature is starting to warm up. It will be summer before you know it. And in Japan, summer means kakigori (かき氷) or the country's version of snow cones. One restaurant has that down to an artform.
A Year-Old Game Rules the Japanese Sales Charts
DsiderWow
Sales charts are, as a rule, somewhat dull. That is, except when they are interesting. Funny that, no? And the most recent Japanese sales charts do have one intriguing factoid.
Oculus Rift Finally Lets You Kiss Hatsune Miku
DsiderUh
We've already seen tech that allows us to shake hands with virtual idol Hatsune Miku. And now, here is tech that enables the world to make out with her.
Eating Häagen-Dazs Vegetable Flavored Ice Cream
DsiderI'd try the carrot/orange one.
How about some nice Häagen-Dazs ice cream? With tomatoes and cherries? If that's not your thing, you can always try carrots and oranges. Japanese site Gigazine did just that.
Report: China Wants a Dominant Computer OS
DsiderOh god, this is how AM was created. STOP. STAHP.
Windows, Android, Mavericks, iOS, these are just some of the world's most popular operating systems, and they all have at least one thing in common: They're all not made in China. Tired of using foreign created software to power their computers, China is looking to promote their own domestically created desktop operating system.
Nintendo Reports a Loss of $457 Million, 3DS and Wii U Both Fall Short
Dsider:|
Nintendo has published their numbers for the most recent financial year, and sadly, they're not doing all that well.
Nintendo Responds (Terribly) To Gay Marriage Petition
DsiderGood job
Earlier this week, we helped publicize a fan-made petition that set out to get gay marriage support in the upcoming Nintendo game Tomodachi Life, which allows players to hang out and start relationships in a weird, surreal alternate universe habitated by Mii characters.
The Internet Reacts To The New Pokémon Remakes
DsiderMainly linking because this is the funniest picture I've seen since that Chansey one yesterday:
http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/rql1pj8eeebwjmkn7ajs.jpg
They said Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire would never get remade. That people should just stop clamoring for them, that all the places that people saw "evidence" of a remake was just silly, desperate. It was beginning to look like Ruby and Sapphire remakes were Pokémon equivalent of Half-Life 3*.
Probably Not the New Soul Calibur Game You Were Waiting For
DsiderThey found the only way to make Soul Calibur dumber than having ring outs.
No seriously, that's why I don't play it. Ring Outs. Also, the last game didn't even have a single-player mode.
Awesome: a new Soul Calibur game is out today! Not awesome: it's a collectible card game made for touch-screen devices.
Nintendo Is Bringing Real Toys To Its Video Games
DsiderNooooooo... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....
While it's dabbled with the technology already in Pokemon Rumble U, Nintendo is about to get serious with the Wii U's NFC (Near-Field-Communication) capabilities.
Homer Simpson's Finest Hour, Immortalised In LEGO
DsiderOh man it's that stupid car he designed, haha
Not counting whatever insane garbage he's been up to in the ten years since I stopped watching the show, I always thought Homer Simpson's most defining moment wasn't when he was a space hero (remember, the rod got the credit!), but when the eyes of the world were upon him at a car show.
McDonald's Now Serving Churros in Japan
And they're called, ahem, McChurros. So clever!
A Solution for One of the Most Annoying Things at the Movies
DsiderI can't like this hard enough.
I love going to the movies. I enjoy watching flicks on the big screen with a crowd. But you know what I find annoying? Sharing an armrest.

DsiderI will take this as a sign that he recognizes Mew as the primary and most important legendary pokemon. I don't even know who those three are around it, and I don't give a shit. It's a lovely picture in any case.
Talented Kotaku reader Bonny John's ambitious project —to draw one Pokémon per day—is about to end, as he just finished an amazing Mew fan-art as his 151st drawing in a row.
Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen is a Pizza Savior
DsiderHell, I don't know, it's a quarter to 4, it's been a slow day.
Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones is known by many names — The Mother of Pepperoni, Lady Regent of The Seven Toppings, Breaker of Munchies, The Unburnt Crust, First of Her Parmesan.
Minecraft Creation Is Mathematically Beautiful
DsiderNow that's more like it
Mobius strips are enough of a head trip on their own . Now imagine trying to make one in Minecraft. I mean, the game is literally made of blocks. You'd think that its inherent chunkiness would turn it into a Sisyphean endeavor.
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Remakes Announced For November

Two games from the long-running creature-collecting series are getting remade for the 3DS.

DsiderHey that's pretty impressive! He took Minecraft and made it look utterly boring!
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Because of the angle, at first it doesn't even look like Minecraft, but rather an early screenshot from the first Sims. Actually it's a really smooth shot of the neighbourhood area of Minecraft enthusiast Yazur's modern city project.

Why Is Swordfighting In So Many Video Games Terrible?
DsiderI actually really loved Twilight Princess' take on swordplay, but of course, that involves the forbidden practice of loving Twilight Princess. Scuse me while I go get bitter again.
Swords are great and games are great, so why don't two great things go great together? Video games let us hack 'n' slash, sure, but it's often ultra-basic or even clunky. Why are games so good at giving us realistic guns, but not realistic swords? Let's find out.
If Famous Books Were Actually About Pokémon
DsiderThese are generally terrible, and Nintendo continues to not understand how to Internet, but at least there's that Chansey gif at the top?
What do the people in the world of Pokémon actually read, you think? My guess is that they'd read the same things we do, only their versions of classic books have Pokémon in them.
