The Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy has been a huge success for Sony and Vicarious Visions since its release back in June, but everyone's favorite marsupial is woah-ing his way through the internet in other ways, too. The "woah" meme first began back in 2016 when YouTuber OneyPlays did a speedrun of Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and said "woah" every time he jumped. Literally any time.
Montages of "woah" popped up on YouTube shortly after and by January 2017, Oney made a video of himself animating a 3D Crash model and screaming woah for all of Twitter to see.
