This Mother's Day only, KFC Canada is including a recordable bucket with their Mother's Day Feast family meal.

The lid of the bucket includes a push-button recorder embedded in it that can record short messages, such as one for your mom on Mother's Day.

It looks like you press the button to play the message and press and hold the button to record. I imagine it's not too different from a recordable greeting card.

The bucket is only available on May 8, 2016.

The meal includes a chili dog, small fries, and small soda. Accepted proof includes a family photo, a child (or children), or an embarassing story about your kids.

In this sequence from Magnolia, everyone is reaching their tipping point, with their fates in the balance. It’s almost like the director set up the whole movie just to bring all the disparate characters together with this one song.

Aimee Mann dominates the soundtrack as a whole and is inextricable from the film, directed by the genius Paul Thomas Anderson (whose Boogie Nights will definitely see an entry or three for this cinema series).

Yesterday, New Zealand's William Trubridge set a free diving world record in what's called the free immersion apnea discipline. According to the official results, Trubridge dove, without using fins or weights or tanks, to a depth of 124 meters in Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahamas. The video above offers a view of most of the dive, which took 4 minutes and 24 seconds for Trubridge to complete. I don't know a whole lot about the mechanics of free diving, so I was surprised that after a few pulls on the rope to get himself going, it's a free fall to the bottom. Watching him falling motionless through the water like that was eerie.

Buzi's name means kiss and it's easy to find her on the giving or receiving end of one. She's grown into her ears, but her corgi pants just get fluffier and fluffier. The 2016 NFL Draft was especially noteworthy for former Ohio State and current New York Giants cornerback Eli Apple. Last week, in the days leading up to the draft, the ever-famous “anonymous scout” told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel he was worried “of off-the-field issues” regarding Apple. What were said off-field issues, you ask?

“The kid has no life skills. At all. Can’t cook. Just a baby. He’s not first round for me. He scares me to death.”

As it turned out, though, Apple’s reported inability to so much as boil water didn’t come back to haunt him. Not only did Apple go in the first round, he went 10th overall. There’s a lot of contract money associated with that type of pick, meaning there can be plenty of people attempting to take advantage of Apple’s newfound wealth. According to Apple’s mom, Annie, who is an all-timer on Twitter for football moms, that meant “thirsty girls” who needed to stay out of her son’s DMs.

It’s fair to guess Apple’s mom was also the one chaperoning his middle-school dances, telling kids to save room for Jesus as they awkwardly swayed back and forth to Boyz II Men. But she’s probably right about people trying to involve themselves in her son’s life now that he stands to make millions of dollars.

While I was waiting in line for The Walk, a virtual reality experience that simulates Philippe Petit’s 1974 tightrope walk between the Twin Towers, a man working at the booth at the Game Developers Conference shared an interesting statistic with me. About 25 percent of the people who try The Walk quit, he said conspiratorially. They take one look down at the 110-story drop that materializes below them, take off the headset, and walk away.

Blu is a mixed breed rescue. He, his mother and his litter mates were rescued from a kill shelter when the pups were just 10 days old. His mother is a poodle/schnauzer mix, father is unknown. Blu loves to steal shoes, chase rabbits and dig up smelly things. He is already house trained, can sit and give his paw on command. He is the best! Great dogs aren't just bred, they're rescued!

Oooh, yeah.
