Meet the 9-Year-Old Supermodel Dubbed “Most Beautiful Girl in the World”
LrbeverNo 9 year old should be a "supermodel" and a lot of those pictures look shopped.
At age nine, Russian-born supermodel Kristina Pimenova has achieved what many women in their 20s and 30s long for – she has been named the most beautiful in the world by a reputed fashion magazine. She is undoubtedly a pretty child, but her popularity among adults is stirring up controversies. People are taking offence over her sexualization by ‘fans’ and the idea of referring to her as a ‘woman’.
Born to former footballer Rusian Pimenov and supermodel Gilkeriya Shirokova, Kristina has been modelling since the age of three. The little girl has an impressive portfolio of clients like Vogue, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. According to her Facebook page, Kristina got into modelling while accompanying her mom on shoots. “Anywhere her mom would go, people would tell her how adorable Kristina was and tell her to try modelling. Her mom decided to try it out and Kristie soon realised how much fun it was, especially catwalk and fashion shows. She’s been having a blast ever since and is loving every minute of it!”
This Artist Takes Terrible Dolls and Turns Them Into Masterpieces
Lrbeverwow
Have you ever noticed how toymakers never quite got the hang of celebrity likenesses? There's a few artisanal companies that will sell you a lifelike Tony Stark for 400 dollars, but even then the results are unnervingly off-model and lumpy (except for the Mickey Rourke dolls, which are accurately lumpy). That's where Noel Cruz comes in. He's an artist that takes existing dolls and carefully repaints them to look more like their intended celebrity effigy.

Giant Luna Plushie Arrives! Five Feet Five Inches of MOON
Lrbeverwoah
What would you do for a gigantic Luna plushie? This one stands at a whopping five feet, five inches from hoof to horn, which is technically only two inches shorter than me. That's kinda frightening. Is this a record for largest pony plushie in the fandom? I think it just might be.
You can check the artist out over here! Both Luna and Celestia (also created in the same size, though we've posted a giant one from this artist before) were commissions, so we unfortunately don't get to see what crazy price they would go for at auction. I can only imagine how much someone paid for them though. You bronies have some deep pockets. Someone toss us a million some time, I could use a vacation.
Discussion: How Long Do You Think You Will Be A Pony Fan? What Keeps You Going?
LrbeverI can't see myself leaving the ponies behind. Like HP, even though the books and movies are finished, still love them just the same. And I'll be the same way with our lovely colorful heroines!
Over the past few years, people have joined and left the fandom in swarms. Some have been around since the beginning nonstop, while others take breaks and re-catch up when seasons happen.
We have pony episodes and a movie already confirmed up to 2017 at the moment, but who knows where we will be that far into the future? For whatever reason, at least when episodes are going on, it's pretty hard to get bored of the ponies themselves. I know so many people that just can't get enough of it. Something about the characters really draws people in.
So, good citizens of EQD and the pony fandom, how long do you think you will be chasing after cartoon equines? Is this going to be a life defining thing? Or do you think it will only last until something else snags you away?

Gangnam Style broke the hell out of YouTube’s view...
Lrbeveroh my
Gangnam Style broke the hell out of YouTube’s view counter, and you’re about to watch the video again.
A little while back, the view counter for Psy’s “Gangnam Style” stalled out at 2,147,483,647, because that’s the maximum number that can be held by a 32 bit integer slot. Pretty much YouTube’s view counter was never meant to hit that many views for a single video. Now that the problem is fixed and that this “bug” is news, it’s added another 10 million views to the video, and several of those are from me. Watch it again!
So there was a bit of a thunderstorm in Sydney and so I stacked a few of the photos I took together.

A Second Season of COSMOS?
Lrbeverplease! more!
Seth MacFarlane, the Executive Producer of COSMOS: A SpaceTime Odyssey, just tweeted out some hope for a second season of the Emmy Award-winning series:

Maybe in Season 2, they bring back the Pluto character. Everyone loved him.

Swanson: Hunger Games Preparing Us for Holocaust
Lrbeverfacehoof
Kevin Swanson, quite possibly the most bizarre person in right wing talk radio (though Rick Wiles may have something to say about that), thinks the Hunger Games movies are designed to prepare Americans for a new Holocaust that will happen in the next few decades.
“This is warming us up to murder,” he said, warning that the films may train children to slaughter American Christians just as Jews were massacred in Nazi Germany. “This is warming us up to the ethical decisions that tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of American kids are going to do when it comes time for the Nazis to kill the Jews or when the Americans need to kill the Jews or when Americans need to kill Christians.”
“Whatever it needs to be, whatever it’s going to be in the next twenty to thirty years, this is an excellent way, this is a tremendous way to prepare hundreds of millions of children, even Christian children and homeschool children for the kind of murder we may see in the future,” he said.
Yep, of course. Annnnnny minute now, we’re gonna start murdering Christian by the tens of millions. Stop laughing! It’s gonna happen!
This girl's handwriting is the coolest thing I've seen all week.

Last Year: A 5 vs 1 Multiplayer Survival Horror Game That's Basically Friday the 13th
Lrbeverwild

Here's a crazy thing - there's really only ever been ONE Friday the 13th game. Even in this modern age of survival horror games on the rise, the NES Friday the 13th game (with Purple Jason) is still the only iteration of the masked machete-wielding maniac and his hunt for horndog teens. Luckily, there's a Kickstarter going for a game called Last Year, which looks like the most perfect Friday the 13th game possible.
